Why is MrBeast being called 'demonic' for helping 1,000 deaf people?
YouTube legend Jimmy 'MrBeast' posted a new video on May 7, 2023, in which he restored hearing to 1,000 deaf people. The philanthropic endeavor soon gained popularity as predicted, receiving over 8.5 million views in only seven hours.
While many people in the community expressed their gratitude for the YouTuber's act with meaningful comments, others attacked him.

MrBeast stated that he and his crew spent $3,000,000 on 'cutting-edge' hearing equipment in a film titled '1,000 Deaf People Hear For The First Time'.

The YouTuber's charitable project gained a lot of attention quickly, with many Twitter users praising his efforts. A Twitter user said, “@MrBeast You’ve made the blind see, the deaf hear.. In a world where humans with power too often disappoint, I’m proud to witness one whose power is managed by his heart. You give “Beast Mode” a different meaning. Keep going.”
Another one tweeted, “@MrBeast These types of videos are Amazing! Doing such awesome charitable acts or other good works that help society as a whole is so inspirational!”
However, there were also people who were not happy. A user commented on MrBeast’s tweet stating, “The way this scumbag just “does good for people” really rubs me the wrong way.”
Later, the Twitter user emphasized that they were making fun of those who ‘always hate on’ the YouTuber.
