'Heartbroken' Bliss Poureetezadi slams Irina Solomonova for mistreating 'Love Is Blind' star Zack Goytowski
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: Irina Solomonova may want to make amends with Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi, but her co-star is still upset about how she treated Zack during their Mexico vacation. Bliss, the Season 4 star of 'Love Is Blind,' told Entertainment Weekly that it was 'heartbreaking' to see Zack being mistreated by Irina.
In the first five episodes of 'Love is Blind,' five couples got engaged and traveled to Mexico to get to know each other better. One of those pairs, however, was doomed from the outset. Zack, a criminal defense attorney, was torn between two women in the pods: Bliss, a senior program manager, and Irina, the proprietor of an event-planning company. While the viewer's decision in this love triangle appeared clear, Zack proposed to Irina... and their engagement was short-lived. They ended their relationship on the last night of their holiday, and Episode 5 ended on a cliffhanger, in which Zack meets up with Bliss and confesses he made an error by choosing Irina over her.

Bliss slams Irina for mistreating Zack
EW spoke with Bliss about viewing the episodes a year after they were filmed and how she felt watching Zack choose someone who had been behaving meanly to her in the pod living accommodations. She insisted that she was not 'competing' for Zack over Irina. She stated that she simply attempted to move forward while remaining respectful and establishing limits where necessary. Bliss believes she made an effort to convey her requirements to Irina. Even off-screen, they allegedly had numerous talks about not talking about Zack and just honoring each other because doing so causes more confusion, drama, and emotions.
Bliss said she was surprised to see Zack choose Irina over her. She was not shocked to hear that Irina had lied to Zack about her. "I think it's just disappointing, and I genuinely do hope that she's taking this opportunity to have growth. I felt very prepared going into this and knowing what I saw on my side of the pods and in the lounge, so it just didn't really surprise me," she added.
When questioned how she felt about the episodes of Zack and Irina in Mexico that followed their breakup, Bliss said she was heartbroken. She said, "Even though Zack and I had ended things in the pods, I still believe he's such a good person, and seeing it just was really heartbreaking, and it made me feel really bad for him. No matter what, people don't deserve to be treated so poorly. I think it just spoke to maybe even some potential insecurities on her side or just lack of acceptance of herself that maybe she can't accept other people. That wasn't easy for me to see him being treated that way."
Irina wants to make amends with Zack and Bliss
On the 'We Have the Receipts' podcast, Irina discussed how she treated her fellow co-stars. Irina claimed she admired Bliss and didn't realize she loved Zack until she overheard something. Then her remarks worsened the situation. "I think I was saying stuff that was like triggering her and upsetting her that I didn’t realize," she explained. "Like, oh, that wasn’t my intention. I was so deep into my own life or what was happening between me and Zack that I didn’t realize how it was affecting her coming out of the pods like, ‘He’s in love with me! I’m the one."
"I haven’t talked to Bliss or Zack since the show, and so I don’t have any ill intention," she explained. "I truly wish them the best." The event coordinator stated that she wishes to "make things right, I guess."
Irina mentioned how uncomfortable her vacation with Zack was. "He’s like a good guy," she said, "but I was almost starting to resent him," and she "started feeling frustrated." Irina is sorry for being disrespectful to him.
'Love is Blind' Season 4 returns with Episodes 6, 7 and 8 on March 31 only on Netflix. The first five episodes are available for viewing now.
