LAUREL, MISSISSIPPI: The new season of HGTV's 'Home Town' premiered on January 7, 2-24. Season 7 kickstarted addressing Ben Napier's injury. And that is the reason why he won't be seen in most of the episodes of the newly premiered season.
Ben recently had a torn rotator cuff after an "overtiring" working day. Due to this, he underwent surgery. Erin was supportive throughout the surgery process.
After his surgery, Ben is going through the healing process and has taken time off to recover properly. His wife Erin took to Instagram to inform HGTV fans about why Ben is missing from the new season of the show.
The star uploaded a picture with her partner, saying, "TONIGHT WE ARE BACK!" She added, "We will help a Canadian family find respite in Mississippi from the brutal winters all the while @scotsman.co underwent and was recovering from shoulder surgery."
Erin informed me that even though Ben is not there to help her out with the renovation work, his place is filled by someone else. Erin writes, "We had a fill-in for him though, so all good. 😬 Watch with us tonight!"
Knowing that Ben is still in his recovery phase, a fan commented, "Well wishes and a speedy recovery." Another prayed, "Blessings on a quick and full recovery Ben."
A fan claimed, "Yay! Can't wait to watch our favorite TV couple!" Another shared his experience and wrote, "I just had rotator cuff repair surgery and it’s a long hard road back to normal. Good luck."

Ben Napier told to People that the hardest part of filming 'Home Town's new season after rotator cuff injury was "not jumping in to help" if someone else was carrying a heavy weight.
Acknowledging himself to be the "biggest guy" in the room, he said, "I need to jump in and help, and it was hard to not do that."
Erin is left worried about Ben's nature as the doctor has strictly suggested he not lift any weights. She said, "It still worries me when he’s like, 'No, I can do this.' He’s still not supposed to lift really heavy things with his left arm. I get nervous."
How much weight has 'Home Town' star Ben Napier lost amid rotator cuff surgery?
Ben Napier is looking significantly lean now. And this has sparked fans' interest in knowing how much weight exactly did Ben lose.
As per the reports, Ben dropped 95 lbs of weight. Ben became serious about his health in 2022. He told ET, "I started just, I needed to take some weight off. And then we did an interview and my shirt wouldn’t stay buttoned, and I was like, 'Oh, that’s a bad look. That is a bad thing.' I was already working [on my weight], and then that jumpstarted it."
Ahead of his shoulder surgery, Ben was asked by the doctors to work on his blood pressure level as it was high. He then thought of working on his weight instead and seeing if that could help him decrease his blood pressure as well.
Ever since then, Ben has been following a strict diet, eating only healthy food.
