'Return to Amish' star Ada Byler says 'lots of changes' ahead as she announces she's leaving Florida
SARASOTA, FLORIDA: 'Return to Amish' Season 7 Episode 6 is titled 'Smooth Oper-Ada.' In this episode, we are about to witness Ada Byler surprising the cast members by announcing that she is leaving. Is she leaving the show? Or, is she leaving Florida?
In the last episode, we saw Ada's granddaughter, Maureen Byler, visiting her in Florida. She came to Florida with Fannie Schmucker. However, Maureen's trip was cut short and she claimed she had to get back to her boyfriend. Although this was acceptable to everyone, Ada was not very happy about this news. Ada never liked Maureen's boyfriend, and now knowing that she was leaving her family for the sake of her boyfriend seemed strange to Ada. It seems that Ada's announcement of leaving the family is related to Maureen's announcement in the last episode.

Why is Ada Byler leaving?
In the recent episode of Return to Amish, we saw Ada cooking an entire dinner for everyone present. Before starting the dinner, she said, "I have something that's been weighing on me." She then revealed that she is going home. This announcement shocked everyone. We see Rosanna looking at Ada with eyes wide open as she announces the news. On the other hand, Jeremiah asked in shock, "What, why?" Ada then explained the reason for her going home. The star said, "Maureen is pregnant and I need to go home and take care of her." Well, the pregnancy news of Maureen came as an equal shock to the cast members as Ada left Florida news.
When later asked by Jeremiah will Ada be coming back, she replied with a "no." She confirmed that she is not kidding. Ada claimed, "I need to get home to take care of her. I'm her mother but her grandmother too."
Ada now understands why Maureen left Florida so early
Ada stated in a confessional, "Maureen called me and she told me she's pregnant." Ada explained her reaction. She said, "I was like wow. I just couldn't believe it." Ada further claimed in the confessional that she gets why Maureen left so early and did not prefer to stay in Florida for long. She must have known about her pregnancy beforehand. Ada says, "It's really tough to have a baby when you're so young and you're not prepared for it." Maureen's grandmother believes that her granddaughter's life is about to change drastically. She says, "So, there's gonna be a lot of changes in their life in their life and it's gonna be a whole different life but I'll support her."
Since Maureen has no family except Ada, it is obvious that she is taking a big step and caring for her granddaughter. However, when Ada is gone, Jeremiah will take care of the other members.
