LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY: Connor Sturgeon, a 25-year-old disgruntled worker, opened fire at a bank in Louisville, Kentucky, on Monday, killing five people in total. He was then fatally shot onsite. Police identified the victims as Joshua Barrick, 40; Thomas Elliot, 63; Juliana Farmer, 45; and James Tutt, 64. One of the injured, named 57-year-old Deana Eckert later died, officials said on Monday, April 10.

Recently, it has come to light that the gunman's social media accounts have been deleted, and conspiracy theorists are making ludicrous allegations. A Twitter user named Paul A Szypula wrote in his tweet, "They’re already wiping the social media postings of Louisville mass-murderer Connor Sturgeon."

According to a law enforcement source familiar with the inquiry, Sturgeon had been employed by the bank for more than a year. He live-streamed his assault on Instagram, and the footage has since been taken down. Interim Louisville Metro Police Chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel stated earlier on Monday that police were "hopeful" they might get the livestream footage taken offline. "I will say this, that the suspect was live streaming. And unfortunately, that’s tragic. To know that that incident was out there and captured," Gwinn-Villaroel stated, as reported by CNN.
