Why did Zach Shallcross dump Kylee Russell? ‘The Bachelor’ star predicted elimination was on way
LONDON, ENGLAND: Until now, 'The Bachelor' Season 27 has been the most unique show. For the first time, we saw the rose ceremony taking place over the video call. On Monday's episode, Kylee Russell and Mercedes Northup were the ones who didn't get the rose from Zach Shallcross, therefore, the stars were casted out from the show.
Well, this week's elimination was the most depressing for the ladies because they didn't get the chance to see Zach one-on-one. Zach, who got infected with Covid attended the rose ceremony via a video call. It was difficult for the ladies because the ones who were eliminated didn't get the last opportunity to meet with Zach physically and give him a goodbye hug. Well, it seems Kylee coped with the elimination situation pretty well. Did she already know that she was about to get eliminated in the upcoming episode? It felt like so. Why did Zach Shallcross dump Kylee Russell?
In the last episode, there was drama created between Kylee and Anastasia Keramidas over an imaginary "physical fight" scenario. Anastasia claimed that Kylee was looking for a physical fight from her. However, on the other hand, Kylee stuck to her claim that all she was looking for was a little more time with Zach. After Anastasia was eliminated in the last episode, Kylee hit her lowest point thinking she was the reason that Anastasia got rolled out. She even speculated that Zach might not be thinking well of her now. Well, we are not sure about that but we certainly saw a gap building up between Zach and Kylee. We didn't see Kylee getting a chance for a video call interaction with Zach. Moreover, 'The Bachelor' lead had a stronger connection with other cast members as compared to Kylee.
Kylee Russell was not shocked
Ever since the last episode, we saw Kylee being certain that she will be the one who Zach will choose to eliminate. However, the same didn't happen. Seeing Zach roll out Anastasia instead of her made her regret taking up the unnecessary fight. However, in the recently released episode when Zach dumped Kylee, she didn't seem to act shocked like Mercedes. Where Mercedes was seen crying her heart out after being eliminated, Kylee was calm and seemed to be knowing that this was coming her way. She neither gave a heartwarming goodbye to Zach on the video call. Instead of saying anything emotional Kylee stuck to wishing the best of luck for his future as she walked out of the room. Kylee instead of having any tears in her eyes sported a wicked smile on her face seeing her not getting the last rose.
