Is Wyatt Pike OK? Utah singer quits 'American Idol', here's why he might have pulled out of the show
Wyatt Pike was one of the most promising singers from the lineup this year but sadly he will no longer be competiting on the show and here's the possible reason for it
Wyatt Pike is yet another star to have pulled out of the 'American Idol' competition. This unexpected news was shared by host Ryan Seacrest at the very beginning of the Top 12 Reveal episode before he went ahead to announce the names of the singer who made it to the next level in the competition.
Wyatt was one of the frontrunners with a unique voice that he could "count on" any day. Similar to TikTok star Benson Boone, Wyatt's exit from the show has left fans devastated and many of them have taken to Twitter to figure out the reason why he pulled out of the competition after a very promising journey to the Top 16. Here's why he may have quit show.
Why did Wyatt Pike quit 'American Idol'?
Everyone who knows Wyatt knows how serious he has been about his musical career and he has the makings of a superstar musician. On Sunday, April 11 night's episode, Luke Bryan declared that he knew Wyatt would make music every single day of his life and Lionel Richie had once told him that he's bound for greatness with his unique style.
Everything seemed to be working in his favor and the only possible reason behind him not being on the show anymore could be connected to him flouting Covid-19 restrictions. He shared a post on his Instagram feed from his hometown Utah, meaning he stepped out of the quarantine bubble and there was no possible way he could have performed in the live rounds tonight (April 12)
