Why did Wyatt Pike quit 'American Idol'?

Everyone who knows Wyatt knows how serious he has been about his musical career and he has the makings of a superstar musician. On Sunday, April 11 night's episode, Luke Bryan declared that he knew Wyatt would make music every single day of his life and Lionel Richie had once told him that he's bound for greatness with his unique style.

Everything seemed to be working in his favor and the only possible reason behind him not being on the show anymore could be connected to him flouting Covid-19 restrictions. He shared a post on his Instagram feed from his hometown Utah, meaning he stepped out of the quarantine bubble and there was no possible way he could have performed in the live rounds tonight (April 12)
