DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, CARIBBEAN: 'Love & Translation' Season 1's Tripp Bromley was left devasted after Sara Mendicino rejected his invitation for a date.
Having said that, Sara did admit that she rejected Tripp's offer as she is more attracted to Dylan Hodge. Notably, in Episode 1, she participated in a staring challenge with Tripp and Dylan and sparked a connection with the latter.
In a preview, Tripp is seen asking Sara, "I want to ask you on a date. Yes or No?" After turning down Tripp's proposal, she said in the confessional, "Let me tell you, I didn't get anything from Tripp during the two minutes we were looking at each other."
Sara elaborated, "Then, when it was Dylan's turn, I was not relaxed because I was attracted to him. Dylan can ask me out on a date because I think there is something between us."
During his confessional, Tripp expressed, "I'm shocked that Sara turned me down like, of course, it hurts a little bit. Was I not good enough, or was I just not reading the situation, but was nobody reading the situation."
He seemed to be baffled and questioned, "What happened? Because I thought we you know with all the laughter and the gaze exercise like okay there's something. Like...I'm certainly hurt but I'm very good at hiding that thanks to my training in the Marines."

Tripp Bromley enjoys a romantic date with Gisele Spilder
After Sara Mendicino rejected Tripp Bromley's invitation to a date, he didn't lose hope and continued his quest for love in 'Love & Translation' Season 1.
Tripp, who joined the TLC show for a serious relationship and a family-oriented partner, seemed to bag a steamy and romantic date with another contestant, Gisele Spilder.
In the preview, the duo were seen spending quality in the waterfall, leading them to share a passionate kiss.
Gisele gushed in the confessional, "I don't know what's going to happen. I came prepared for anything."
However, their romance might have fizzled out too soon as Tripp was spotted kissing yet another contestant. A visibly jealous Gisele noted, "I had the most romantic date and then Tripp kissed another girl in front of me."
What is Sara Mendicino looking for in her partner?
Sara Mendicino joined 'Love & Translation' Season 1 to find true love. She had never been with an American guy and wanted to change that by participating in an interesting show.
That's because Sara believes American men are "stronger" and can express their emotions with "just their tone of voice."
Notably, she is one of the youngest among the 32 women vying for singles, Tripp Bromley, Dylan Hodge, and Khalil Haughton.
