DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, CARIBBEAN: The internet praised 'Love and Translation' star Sara for politely turning down a date offer from "problematic" Tripp Bromley, saying that she did so to deflate his "big ego." Tripp invited Sara to go on a date in the first episode, but the contestant from France politely declined.

Fans of the show who thought Tripp was ill-tempered and had a short fuse applauded this approach.

Sara's decision to reject Tripp only makes sense, especially as the internet had already criticized Tripp for making stereotypical comments about Latinas, which many viewers found offensive. Some pointed out his perceived "trashy" tone, while others mocked his choice of tight-fitted clothes. Sara's move resonated with those who disapproved of Tripp's behavior and reinforced the negative sentiments surrounding him.

"Tripp has a trash tone," said a user on Twitter.

"lol OOF Tripp got denied!!!" another viewer said.

"Tripp describing the typical stereotypes abt Latinas… gross lmao" a fan mocked.

"Sarah to Tripp," said another.

"The first episode sucked, but I have to give it another chance after Sara said “no” to Tripp. His big ego needed to be popped! I think I need to watch a few more episodes to see if I’m out," a viewer of the show said.

"Tripp might be hiding a bad temper," a viewer speculated.

"Tripp is terrifying," a viewer said.

"Sara did the right thing in turning Tripp down!" a viewer lauded Sara.

"Tripp Already know there’s going to be problems," a fan joked.
