Why did Emily Balch dub Brennan Shoykhet a 'red flag'? 'MAFS' Season 17 star tearfully slams her husband
DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 couple Emily Balch claimed to see the real side of Brennan Shoykhet amid their messy feud. The couple recently went for a romantic dinner which soon turned into an explosive feud ahead of Decision Day. During the dinner, Brennan called Emily a 'negative' person which left her heartbroken.
Brennan claimed that Emily often 'hated' everything before her life-threatening accident and she also destroyed Michael Shiakallis and Chloe Brown's vow with her negativity. Emily left shocked by Brenna's accusation and tearfully left the table. She went to the washroom to cry her heart out and claimed, "He thinks that I'm negative. Am I overreacting? Like, is that not like the most f******g worst dig anyone could ever say?"
She admitted to being in 'disbelief' and dubbed Brennan a 'red flag' for calling her a negative person. She returned to the dinner table and told Brennan, "I would at this rate now, really like to know the other red flags." She added, "That might've been like the most hurtful thing that anyone's ever said to me." Brenna tried to back himself and noted, "It's very hard for me to say those types of things because I don't want to hurt your feelings." He claimed that he saw a new positive side of Emily after her accident but his wife insisted that she she has always been the same person.
She said, "I have been the same positive person and that is what people would describe me as, like, a key quality and characteristic and that's was like maybe the most hurtful thing ever."
Emily Balch slams Brennan Shoykhet for cheating on her
In the latest episode of 'MAFS' Season 17, Clare Kerr made a shocking revelation about Brennan Shoykhet. She told Emily Balch, "I just don't feel like Brennan is giving you the same respect that you give to him." She added, "I've heard through the grapevine that [Brennan] had wanted to go on a double date with Cameron, and that he is going on dates."
Emily immediately broke down in tears, dropping her head into her hands as she thanked Clare for the revelation. Emily then face-timed Brennan and confronted her over his double date drama. She told him, "I've feel like you've cared so much about yourself and reputation in this and did something stupid, honestly, I just don't understand, like, why you would do something so dumb."
Brennan backed off from the accusation and claimed that he just joked with Cameron about a double date and never actually went. Emily was not ready to trust Brennan and questioned, "Why can't you just take ownership to anything you do or even -- I don't know say sorry?" Brennan still didn't take the accountability and said, "It doesn't matter... you're going to roast me on tv anyway."
However, when Brennan claimed that he saved her from the accident, Emily left even more furious and said that anyone could have done that. She added, "You're manipulative. You have no accountability. You have no awareness of anything."
Brennan Shoykhet moves out of Emily Balch's apartment
After Emily Balch and Brennan Shoykhet's e explosive Facetime, the latter announced, "I'll be there to pack my s**t up and get the f**k out of there. " He added, "There's no reasoning with you. and you're going to say and you're going to say whatever the f**k you want to say." He further noted, "So yeah, I'll be at the apartment and then I will see you on Decision Day."
Brennan and Emily made it clear that they would not be together anymore after the former took his stuff from the apartment and moved out. He later recorded a video and claimed to the cameras, "I wish you didn't have to make it this hard. I wish we weren't at this point. I wish we could have had smooth sailing from our reset and just walked away as friends." He added, "And I feel like it's really unfortunate that we are where we are."
'Married At First Sight' Season 17 airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on Lifetime.
