Elon Musk fires off 'Simpsons' meme in latest salvo as feud with Donald Trump escalates quickly
The intense exchange of words between Elon Musk and former President Donald Trump ended on Tuesday, July 12 late at night after the Tesla CEO responded to the Trump jabs with a 'Simpsons' gif in reference to the “Old Man Yells at Cloud” meme and with a tweet "Lmaooo". The controversial war of words began between Trump and Musk after Breitbart News a far-right news network shared a video of Trump on Twitter where he called Musk "Another Bullsh*t Artist". The news outlet captioned the video, "Trump Rips Elon Musk: 'Another Bullsh*t Artist'."
Musk did not take a moment to respond in a series of tweets to the video. "I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset. Dems should also call off the attack – don’t make it so that Trump’s only way to survive is to regain the Presidency", Musk responded. "Yeah, but too much drama. Do we really want a bull in a china shop situation every single day!? Also, I think the legal maximum age for the start of the Presidential term should be 69", he wrote in the subsequent tweet.

Trump would be 82 at end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America.

If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win – he doesn’t even need to campaign.
"Trump would be 82 at end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America. If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win – he doesn’t even need to campaign", the Tesla CEO wrote in the third tweet.
Soon after Musk's tweet, the former president attacked Musk on his right-wing social media network Truth Social, recalling one of the many times the Tesla CEO visited the White House during his presidency. “When Elon Musk came to the White House asking me for help on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it’s electric cars that don’t drive long enough, driverless cars that crash, or rocketships to nowhere, without which subsidies he’d be worthless,” Trump wrote, “and telling me how he was a big Trump fan and Republican, I could have said, ‘drop to your knees and beg,’ and he would have done it.”

For good measure, the former president appeared to enjoy Tuesday's other Musk news: Twitter is suing the moon-loving billionaire, alleging that he breached a contract to buy the company. “Now Elon should focus on getting himself out of the Twitter mess because he could owe $44 billion for something that’s perhaps worthless. Also, lots of competition for electric cars!", Trump wrote.
