'You have to be limber': Whoopi Goldberg shows how she pees while wearing a bathing suit on 'The View'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The View’ host Whoopi Goldberg is someone you can never keep away from the limelight. The former Oscar winner is extremely eccentric and is often mired in controversies either due to her comments or over-the-top acts. One such act has now become a topic of discussion for audiences of ‘The View,’ who were surprised but not completely shocked on witnessing Goldberg pull off another antic.
The 67-year-old sent everyone into a frenzy when she demonstrated on ‘The View’ about how she urinates while wearing a bathing suit. In the latest episode of the long-running chat show, hosted by Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Goldberg and Ana Navarro, the 'Sister Act' star waded into the topic while discussing Martha Stewart making the cover of Sports Illustrated. However, it was Behar's story that prompted Goldberg to speak up on the said topic.

Joy Behar's Martha Stewart story
Behar recalled a candid conversation with she had with Stewart. She said, “One time I met her and I said to her, ‘Martha, what do you wear as a brassiere?’ Without missing a beat, she said, ‘I wear a bathing suit under my clothing.’ So, it’s like one piece.” Behar added, “I said, 'Well, how do you pee? She said, 'There's no snaps on a bathing suit.’”
Goldberg was startled by this revelation and said, “I have snaps on my bathing suit. You don't have snaps on your bathing suit?” Behar shook her head. This led Goldberg to respond, "Oh, honey!" The audience started cheering at this point. However, Behar mentioned that Stewart had a solution to this problem. She stated, “Martha pulls it to the side. She's innovative!”
'You have to bend all the way'
Goldberg is no stranger to the bathing suit problem. She had a similar solution of her own which she depicted to the panel back in 2022. During a broadcast, she bent over her chair, pretending she was wearing a bathing suit, and told her co-hosts, “You have to be limber.” She then stuck her head between her legs and said, “You have to be able to bend all the way over and grab the back of [the swimsuit] and pull it forward.” She pointed to her backside and said, "And then the problem for me is that I can't see the snaps because they're way down there.”
This candid confession was a shock for everyone but given Goldberg's extravagant and over-the-top nature, it was not really given much thought. It was earlier reported that the show's executives had asked her to leave 'The View' over her shenanigans and controversial statements.
