CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Former Chicago Blackhawks star Bobby Hull died on Monday, January 30. The 84-year-old Canadian professional ice hockey player was regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. The news of Hull's death came after the Blackhawks and the NHL Alumni Association announced it on Twitter, though the cause of death is yet to be revealed. Hull scored 610 goals over his 16-year career with the Blackhawks, Hartford and Winnipeg. He retired from NHL in 1980 after 23 years.
Hull was popularly known as "The Golden Jet" for his speed and blonde hair. However, the life of the player was surrounded by controversies as he had reportedly been accused of domestic violence multiple times by his wives. Hull, who had been married thrice, was accused of physical violence by his second and third wife, Joanne McKay and Deborah. He had seven children with multiple partners.

Who were Bobby Hull's wives?
Not much is known about Hull's first marriage which ended while he was still a teenager, as per ESPN.

Joanne McKay
Joanne McKay, a figure skater, was Hull's second wife. The pair got married in 1960 and got divorced after 20 years of marriage in 1980. Hull had five children with McKay, four sons, Bobby Jr, Blake, Brett, Bart and a daughter, Michelle. The marriage was surrounded by multiple charges of mental and physical abuse. According to McKay, in 1966, Hull held her over the balcony after hitting her in the head with her shoe while they were in Hawaii, as per ESPN. Following several abuse incidents, McKay finally filed for a divorce in 1970 but later agreed to a reconciliation. In 1978, Hull reportedly threatened her with a loaded shotgun and two years later the couple finally got divorced.
Deborah Hull
Hull married Deborah in 1984 and two years later he was arrested and charged with assault and battery after allegedly hitting her during an argument, although she later dropped the complaint. The argument took place late-night in the parking lot of their condominium, as per Los Angeles Times. Police had received noise complaint from an unidentified neighbor before they went to investigate. Then Police Chief Steven List had said, "There was evidence he (Hull) had struck his wife in the face. She had some contusions, some swelling." Hull spent the night in jail and posted 10% of a $3,000 bond before being released. Hull had later pleaded guilty to taking a swing at one of the arresting officers, for which he was fined an additional $150 and placed on six months court supervision.
Who is Claudia Allen?
Claudia Allen was Hull's girlfriend. He officially retired in 1980 to care of Allen after she got injured in a car accident, per Hollywood Life. Hull had a daughter, Jessica, with Allen. Hull had another daughter, Beth Carriero Anderson, whose mother's name is not known but she was reportedly a woman from Ontario, Canada.
