Who is Michael Esposito? Staten Island dad sued for secretly recording live-in nanny
A Staten Island father of four is being sued for secretly recorded "hundreds" of nude videos of his live-in nanny. The lawsuit filed by 25-year-old Kelly Andrade states Michael Esposito, a father of four tried to break down her bedroom door after she covered herself in fear upon discovering the hidden camera. Court papers also state she jumped out of a window to escape fearing that Esposito might be armed with a gun.
In the past, we have reported on incidents where employers have breached the privacy of their home staff. In December last year, the ex-husband of Real Housewives of New York star Jennifer Gilbert filmed their nanny Daniela de los Rios while she was having sex while she lived at his $6 million Tribeca home. In another incident, Joseph Peter Sisemore from Arizona groomed a 15-year-old babysitter and had sex with her 25 times.

Who is Michael Esposito?
Staten Island resident Michael Esposito's LinkedIn page reveals he is the owner of three LaRosa Chicken & Grill franchises. He is married to Danielle Fernicola Esposito and together they are raising their four boys all under the age of 8. They live in an $800,000 home in Tottenville. Andrade was hired by Cultural Care Au Pair after completing hundreds of hours of training following which she was offered employment with the Esposito's.
Andrade who spoke to the Post through an interpreter said she was given a bedroom to sleep in at her employer's house but claims she kept catching Esposito in her room. She claimed he kept fiddling with the smoke detector which "was constantly being repositioned" according to the Brooklyn Federal Court lawsuit. She examined the detector after three weeks and to her horror found a camera with a memory card which was "filled with hundreds of recordings" most of them captured her "nude and/or dressing/undressing" according to the documents.
Andrade claimed Esposito was back at the house "within minutes" of her making the discovery and started "banging on the door" and she entered "fight or flight mode". Andrade claimed Esposito "seemed very nervous and he seemed very worried when he arrived at the house." She jumped out of the first-floor window in a bid to get away and ended up hurting her knees in the process. “I ran until I got far enough, where I felt safe enough to stop," she said adding she found herself in a completely unknown area and had to use GPS to find the nearest police station where she reported the incident and handed over the memory card to them.
Along with Esposito, Andrade is also suing Cultural Care Au Pair who did nothing to help her. “I felt very afraid. On top of what had just happened, now I don’t have a place to stay, I’m in a completely unknown country, I’m alone. I don’t have any money, I don’t know what I’m going to eat, I don’t know what I’m going to do tomorrow.” She said losing the job, and being filmed nude left her feeling "suicidal". Her lawyer Zachary Holzberg said, “We’re alleging that Cultural Care had a responsibility for her safety." Andrade is suing Esposito and Cultural Care Au Pair for unspecified damages and also called the former's behavior "extreme and outrageous."
