Who is 'courtside Karen' Juliana Carlos? Hawks fan calls LeBron James 'p***y', Internet says 'just watch the game'
The game between Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks was not without its share of courtside drama. At least two fans were removed from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Monday night, February 1, after a verbal altercation with Lakers star LeBron James. While it does appear that James was dismissive about the issue, "Courtside Karen" was a major Twitter trend. Identified as Chris and Juliana Carlos, the woman was seen shouting something at James.
This was followed by three on-court referees coming in with arena security when Juliana removed her mask and shouted at the Lakers star. Taking to Instagram later on, Juliana gave her expletive-filled account of what actually happened even as Twitterati went in a bit of a stir.
"So I am minding my own business, and Chris has been a Hawks fan forever," Juliana said in the clip. He's been watching Hawks games for ten years whatever... he has this issue with LeBron, I don't have an issue with LeBron, and I don't give a fuck about LeBron. Anyway, I am minding my own business, drinking my (beeps) and having fun...all of a sudden, LeBron says something to my husband. And I see this, and I get up and say, "Don't fucking talk to my husband, and he goes..."Sit the fuck down bitch."
"I said, "Don't fucking call me a bitch, you sit the fuck down, and I say, 'Don't fucking talk to my husband'. And he literally was like, 'Fuck you bitch, sit down bitch' and I am getting kicked out. Excuse me, I have courtside seats that I have that I paid for. Fuck you LeBron, you're a fucking pussy, get outta here. You're gonna let a 25-year-old girl intimidate you during a game? Bye bitch."

I don’t think it was warranted to be kicked out.” He later tweeted, "Courtside Karen was MAD MAD!!" Reactions did pour in massively. That anger seems like a show to prove to her husband that her love for him is stronger than her lust for Lebron," read another. "It's not funny, that she really doesn't think she did anything wrong. I'm curious, does she know the game? Chris Carlos (husband) has been going to games since she was at least 10 years old, he's been heckling for a while, I'm sure. He didn't need her mouth....... for that.," another remarked. One said, "Courtside Karen left out that she threatened Lebron... They just mad that a black man had the power to get them kicked out of a game they payed for." One said, "People need to learn courtside etiquette. Rule 1. Be respectful and watch the game."
