HAZLEHURST, GEORGIA: 'American Idol' Season 22 contestant Will Moseley is a country singer-songwriter and guitarist from Hazelhurst, Georgia. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
According to his Facebook, the ABC show contestant attended Jeff Davis High School and was on the football team. He also went to Maryville College for his higher studies.
Will recently graduated with a Biology degree from Georgia Southern University. In a recent interview, he revealed that he ditched football to pursue music.
He received a scholarship to play Division III football in Knoxville but his football dream was shattered and he later chose to learn guitar.
Will explained in the interview that during his second year of college, he returned to his home in Georgia. He shared that he had around three or four months before he could decide about his football career.
During that time, the contestant learned the guitar and elaborated in the interview, "Every waking moment I wasn’t busy, that’s what I was doing, playing guitar. It’s the only thing I’ve ever done in my life that I was this passionate about."
The ABC show contestant added, "I truly just love sitting down with a guitar and writing a song." After learning guitar, he went back to his college and completed his education.
The aspiring singer then committed himself to music and has since released four songs, 'Coming Down,' 'Fishing for a Living,' 'Gone for Good' and 'Somewhere in the Middle.' All of Will's songs have background stories which he teased on his social media.
Will was also featured in the preview of the ABC show where judge Luke Bryan teased about the contestant.
In the video, Luke shared about Will, "When your college football dreams are shattered, what do you do?" The judge added, "Well Will here picked up the guitar and started singing and now he's on 'American Idol'."

Will and Ryleigh had been dating for around four years and documented their romance on their social media in a series of posts. Ryleigh has been supportive of Will's dreams and joined her beau for all his concerts.
The ABC show contestant spent his Spring break with his girlfriend Ryleigh on Orange Beach in Alabama and reflected on the vacation, "Spring Break has come and gone, but good memories are always made!"

'American Idol' Season 22 contestant Will Moseley is speculated to win the golden ticket to Hollywood. He took to social media and teased his upcoming gig.
He shared the preview clip of the show and noted in the caption, "About a year ago, a friend of mine asked me why I didn’t try out for a singing competition." Will added, "I didn’t really have a reason but the opportunity just hadn’t presented itself."
In the clip, fans got a few glimpses of Will which was enough to speculate that he advanced to the upcoming round. He was seen stepping out of the audition room and excitedly lifted ABC show host Ryan Seacrest.
