What app was she using?
Jay and Affleck came across each other's profile on Raya, a celebrity-friendly dating app. As per the app's website, Raya is a "membership-based community for networking, dating and making friends". Some of the celebs previously spotted on the app are Cara Delevigne, Drew Barrymore, John Mayer, Kelly Osbourne and Trevor Noah.
However, to join Raya, one has to go through an extensive vetting process. As reported by Business Insider, out of the 100,000 people on the waiting list, only 8 per cent of the applicants are approved.
Affleck has been spotted using Raya before
As reported by Page Six back in 2019, Affleck was on the app in the hope of finding someone special. “He seems to want a real partner and is not looking to date a celebrity. He is private and is in a good space right now,” a source said back then. “He has his kids and is focusing on work, but is ready to be in love again.”
As reported by InTouch, actress Rebel Wilson spotted him on Raya as well. But in February 2020 on 'Good Morning America', Affleck claimed that he was not on any dating apps or websites. "I am not on any websites, I am on no dating apps, not Tinder, Grindr, Brindr, Bumble, Humble," the actor said. "I am not on any of them. I don’t have any judgment about people who are — I know people who are on them and have a fun time, but that’s not me. I would love to have a relationship that is deeply meaningful and one to which I could be deeply committed." However, as per Jay's TikTok video, looks like Affleck is ready to find love again.
