Who is Kid Rock's sister? 'D.E.B.S.' star has enthralled audiences with her various acting roles
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Some call the '60s the golden era of pop music, some say it was the '90s rock and heavy metal scene that changed the definition of pop, while others argue that pop music has evolved hand-in-hand with society and is reflective of cultural changes that mark societal evolution. While all of these views can live in a quantum superposition, being true or false, or both altogether, one cannot deny the fact that each era was a musical revolution, without which a lot of our modern day stars would not be able to gift us the music that we selectively curate to create our favorite playlists.
If the evolution of pop music were to be divided over decades, there is arguably nothing as chaotic as the '90s. From the birth of grunge, thanks to Kurt Cobain-led Nirvana, to never-before-seen fusion styles combining hip-hop - born in the early '70s - with hard rock, the blues, and a little bit of jazz, to create genres like rap-rock, alternate rock, and punk-rock among others, the decade saw a host of distinctive bands and musicians, who created a niche of their own. Among them, Kid Rock's music combined rap, rock and heavy metal, and it was not long before he became a sensation, nominated for five Grammy awards between 2000-2010.

While Rock has often made news for several "rock-worthy" reasons, and for his much-talked-about marriage to Pamela Anderson, not much about his familial life has made headlines. Born Robert James Ritchie, to Susan and William, who owned multiple car dealerships, in Romeo, Michigan, on January 17, 1971, Rock has three siblings - elder brother William, elder sister Carol, and younger sister, Jill. While not much is known about William and Carol, Jill is an actor, best known for her role as Janet in 'D.E.B.S'.
Who is Jill Ritchie?
Born on March 5, 1974, Jill grew up in Michigan and fell in love with the acting world when she was in elementary school, after appearing in a play. In an interview with RadioFree.com, Jill said that she did ballet for almost 15 years and "just developed the passion through being on stage and dance recitals and doing local community theater." When it came to college, she applied to schools that had theatre programs and in the process ended up moving to Los Angeles.
In the same interview, Jill credited director, screenwriter, and producer Angela Robinson as being one of the people who gave her her first break - a one-liner in the popular drama series, 'Beverly Hills, 90210'. "And if you want to call "first break" as in first professional job where I got paid and got my SAG card, I had one line on 90210. And it got cut! I told everybody to watch it, and it was cut! But that would ultimately be my first paying job," she reportedly said.
Since her appearance on the show in 1995, Ritchie has starred in over 10 films, including '100 Women', 'Herbie: Fully Loaded', 'Little Athens', and 'D.E.B.S'. She has also been featured in several television series, including 'Nash Bridges', 'Nancy Drew', and 'I Hate My 30's', where she played a pivotal role as Mandy.
