Who is Kelley Fox? Kim Foxx's husband calls cops, accuses SA of SLAPPING him in domestic abuse
Kim Foxx, the State’s Attorney for Cook County, Illinois, was accused of slapping her husband, Kelley Foxx in a domestic dispute on June 10 at 10 pm, according to a police report. Her husband claimed that 49-year-old Foxx slapped him and involved physical abuse. Whereas, Foxx denied that she slapped her husband and told police she only put her hands on him in an effort to get him out of the house.
Foxx’s husband called 911 to their home in the south suburb shortly after 10 pm, to report an altercation, and told responding officers that Foxx threw his video game controller, blocked him from leaving a bathroom, and slapped his face, according to a police report released through a public-records request. Four Flossmoor police officers were sent to the Foxx home.

Before arriving, a dispatcher told officers that the incident was physical, but there were no injuries "yet," the report said. When the officers arrived, both Kelley and Foxx were standing on the front step of the home. Kelley told one officer that his wife had gotten angry “about something that was posted on Facebook that he did,” and she "asked him to leave and he refused," according to the report.
He told officers that his wife then "became physical," and said she blocked him from leaving a bathroom and had grabbed his collar, the report said. Kelley also told police that his wife also snatched away his video game controller and threw it down. Kelley also claimed that his wife had slapped him. An officer reported asking him where, and he said, "left cheek," the police report said. An officer reported using a flashlight to examine Kelley Foxx, and did not find any redness, swelling, or other indicators that he had been struck, the report said.
The officer reported that there were no marks of injury on him. The officer also asked Kelley if he felt safe in the house, and he said he wanted to "make sure someone understands what is happening here," the report said. Kelley further explained that Foxx went physically aggressive with him.
Meanwhile, a Flossmoor police sergeant talked with Foxx, who said she and her husband had a quarrel and she wanted him to leave, the report said. Foxx accepted everything that her husband told officers and said, “all that is true” but, denied slapping him. Foxx said she did put her hands on her husband, but said it was "only to help guide him out of the house". One of the officers talked with the couple's 19-year-old daughter, who said she heard a disagreement, but didn't see anything and couldn't tell what was going on, the report said.
