Who is Hunter Johnson? Net loses it after man with 'zip ties on wrists' spotted with Kaylee Goncalves

A netizen speculated the man with the 'zip ties' was familiar with the Idaho victims and was spotted at their home on more than one occassion

MOSCOW,IDAHO: It has been more than a month since the four University of Idaho students, Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle and Madison Mogen, were brutally murdered at their off-campus home on November 13. Now, a web sleuth has uploaded of video allegedly showing Goncalves with a man, whose name is speculated to be Hunter Johnson, with "zip ties on his wrists," that had piqued people's interest. 

Web sleuths have been making one bizarre and baseless claim after another ever since the murders were reported. The netizen alleged that Johnson, who was quite familiar with the four students, was spotted at the victims' home on certain occasions.

Who is Hunter Johnson?

The user, @LostSoulsTC, posted the same on Twitter and uploaded a video on Youtube. The person tweeted, "What is hanging from under Kaylee's dress, and why is that guy wearing ziplocks on his wrist? Allegedly his name is Hunter, and he's the same guy on the 9-1 cop cam. #Idaho4 Courtesy of Truth & Transparency."  

The video is allegedly recorded on a police bodycam. In the purported video, the officer goes to the victims' home to warn them due to a noise complaint from the neighbors. As Goncalves addresses him, another individual is seen in the video sitting on a couch next to her, whom the Twitter user claimed was Johnson, with "tight zip ties" on his wrists. The person asked what the function of the zip ties were during the party. The same user later unveiled more details about this man and wrote, "A friend sent me pics of the guy at the house. He's Emily's BF, Hunter Johnson. Emily could be Bethany's twin. So cute. #Idaho4"

Another user replied on the same thread and wrote, "#Idaho4 More questions answered. Things I didn't know…." The user added two images, as one of them explains the meaning of "ziptie" and another is a screenshot of the chat, which provided information on Johnson. As usual, a lot of such theories have no basis whatsoever with the ongoing investigation and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
