ST LOUIS, MISSOURI: 'Lakefront Empire' agent Amanda Smith is a licensed real estate agent who has been in the housing business for the last five years. She was raised in St Louis and currently helps locals find their dream homes in Missouri and Illinois neighbourhoods. She also owns her real estate firm, Smith & Associates Realty Group, which specializes in residential properties.
Amanda was very young when she developed a passion for real estate while watching her parents acquire their first investment property. However, being a real estate agent was not the only career option that she always wanted. Amanda shared with HGTV that she always thought she would be a lawyer because she was "good at debating and getting my point across." Amanda was also "detail-oriented and great at gathering information" which were some of the essential qualities of a lawyer.
However, Amanda bagged a full-time opportunity in a real estate franchise as a Licensed Realtor in 2017. She continued to work as a realtor for more than two years. According to Amanda's LinkedIn, she currently owns and works as a licensed Broker/Salesperson and team leader of her firm. After ditching the idea of being a lawyer and establishing a multi-million producing firm, Amanda now made her television debut with HGTV's new show, 'Lakefront Empire' Season 1.
Amanda would join Peggy Albers, Cierra Grein, Gerardo Cornejo and brothers Jonas and Justin Farrell to offer clients both affordable and million-dollar luxury homes.
Amanda Smith closes property deals worth $7 million
'Lakefront Empire' agent Amanda Smith bagged over $7 million in real estate for her brokerage closing for 2024. The HGTV show's real estate agent took to her social media and reflected on her success. She shared behind-the-scenes clips of the photoshoot with her colleagues and noted, "As we step into 2024 I want to say THANK YOU to any and everyone who has supported my business!!!"
She added, "It truly means the world to me. Those who were clients and became family as well as those who were friends and family and became a client." Amanda further noted, "With your support we’ve help 45+ families and closed over $7,000,000 in sales volume this year and I’m so very grateful."
However, Amanda now aimed to close bigger deals in the upcoming HGTV show. She would use her negotiation skills to sell a home of the 'American Dream' to these families looking to live in the 'Hamptons of the Midwest.'
Is 'Lakefront Empire' agent Amanda Smith married?
'Lakefront Empire' agent Amanda Smith married Davaun Smith Sr in May 2018 and had been together since 2015. The couple went to the same high school, Riverview Gardens Sr. High School, but never met. The duo later reconnected on an online dating app. She shares four kids Kamiah, Darion, Kourtney and Davaun Jr with her husband Davaun.
HGTV star Amanda often shared photos and videos with her husband on her social media. Amanda recently surprised her husband with a trip to Jamaica on his birthday in October. She shared in a post, "He's been working hard and was long overdue for a relaxing vacation. We had an amazing time and spent some much needed quality time.
'Lakefront Empire' Season 1 premieres on Monday, March 11 at 9 pm ET on HGTV. The new episode will be available to stream next day on Max.
