Who are Duo Dadiva? 'Got Talent' veterans to rock 'AGT' Season 18 with stirring dance-circus combo

CUBA, CARIBBEAN: 'America's Got Talent' is renowned for showcasing talented artists from around the world. In the last audition round, it welcomed a captivating Cuban dance duo on stage. These circus artists are set to infuse the floor with creativity, and they are no strangers to 'Got Talent' franchises.

NBC has introduced a new twist in the last audition round of 'AGT' Season 18. The artists will once again get the chance to impress the judges, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell. In the final audition round, the judges have one extra golden buzzer to press for the deserving contestant. This buzzer will help the artist move directly to the live round without any further competition.

Who are Duo Dadiva?

Duo Dadiva is comprised of Amalia Cruz Duquen and Lyolexan Torres. The Cuban circus artists are acrobats with undeniable chemistry. Amalia and Lyolexan are married and have a daughter together. Being acrobatic parents, they have also transferred the same gene to their little one, it seems. Their daughter is already an expert in splits and other acrobatic stunts. Duo Dadiva has gained international fame, having appeared in various 'Got Talent' franchises such as 'Got Talent All Stars Spain' and 'France's Got Talent'. During their appearance on 'France's Got Talent', Duo Dadiva captivated fans by progressing all the way to the semi-finals.

Combination of dance and circus

Besides being gymnasts, Duo Dadiva are also well-versed in dancing and have made a name for themselves as skilled circus performers. They once represented Cuba at the Bayeuz International Circus Festival. Amalia graduated from the National School of Art and the National Circus School of Cuba, while Iyolexan graduated from the Cuban Circus Academy. Together, they have participated in world-famous events like the Bayeuz International Cirque Festival and the International Festival of Circ Elefant d'Or.

Duo Dadiva in 'AGT' Season 18

Duo Dadiva have not yet posted anything about their appearance in 'AGT' Season 18's audition round. However, a glimpse at their social media suggests that the dancers will undoubtedly awe the judges with their skills. It remains to be seen whether they will earn the coveted golden buzzer or not. What's certain is Duo Dadiva will showcase their mesmerizing dance, infused with their impressive gymnastic skills.
