‘Camp Rock 3’ was released on August 13, bringing with it plenty of nostalgia and fond memories. The first two parts of the franchise, ‘Camp Rock’ (2008) and ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’ (2010), were well-received across the globe, increasing anticipation for the latest installment. The third part featured the return of the OG cast members, including the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Maria Canals-Barrera, and more. While the storyline has excited viewers, fans have also been curious about where the newly released ‘Camp Rock 3’ was filmed.

Notably, the makers opted for new filming locations, one of which fans can actually visit. Interestingly, the team didn’t return to the original ‘Camp Rock’ filming locations, including Ontario. Instead, Disney moved production to British Columbia. In September 2025, fans noticed Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas around Metro Vancouver after filming began a month ago. The main filming location was the picnic area at Barnet Marine Park in Burnaby. Located on the shores of Burrard Inlet, the production built sets inside the park for cast members’ campers, bunks, stage, and more. Fans can visit the popular Metro Vancouver park and spend their summer there.

Last fall, the park posted a notice mentioning the production title, 'Rock the Boat.' At the time, local reports also noted that the park underwent a noticeable transformation during filming. The surrounding area includes dense forests, waterfront parks, and mountains, making it a popular setting for various productions. The waterfront area of Barnet Marine Park was turned into Camp Rock for filming. It offers picturesque views of Burrard Inlet, beaches, and more. The park is located at 8181 Barnet Road in Burnaby, approximately a 30-minute drive from downtown Vancouver, depending on traffic.
