SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS: Morgyn, a young nurse from San Antonio, Texas, believed Dr Terry Dubrow could enhance her zippered arm scars after a skin removal procedure went poorly.

During the February 29 episode of 'Botched' Season 8, Dr Dubrow proved Dr Paul Nassif wrong by completing a procedure that the latter said was impossible.

After shedding 120 pounds through weight reduction surgery, Morgyn wanted skin removal surgery to correct the drooping skin under her arms. The failed treatment left her with terrible red scars and damaged skin.

Dr Dubrow excised as much scar tissue as possible before healing the incision, resulting in more natural-looking skin.

Morgyn's weight reduction struggle, surgeries, and having her scars in the incorrect position for so long have all seemingly come to an end, and her scars are now in the correct spot.

They are thin and no longer tough. Now she can be free.

Who is Morgyn in 'Botched' Season 8?

Morgyn, 22, had brachioplasty and was left with a large, misplaced, and hypertrophic scar. She believed that the 'Botched' experts would provide her with a feasible option.

Morgyn became renowned as the "nurse with scars" after an unsuccessful skin removal procedure. Her scars were deep crimson and purple, like very lengthy and thick bruises.

Morgyn began gaining a lot of weight when she entered adolescence due to various medical concerns she had. She weighed 264 pounds at her heaviest.

She was ultimately able to have gastric sleeve surgery at the age of 19, and after about a year and a half, she had shed around 120 pounds. First, she noticed all the additional skin.

It was sagging, crepey, and unsanitary. She underwent skin removal surgery to remove all the loose skin on her arms.

When she awoke from surgery, she could see her scars. It was meant to be hidden on the inside of her arm.

Morgyn has seen a few more doctors for consultations, but they did not feel secure enough to do so, which terrified her. She began to feel gloomy, according to her mother, Dolores.

What happened to Morgyn in 'Botched' Season 8?

Dr Dubrow was concerned that if Morgyn were interested in changing the placement of the scar, he would have to force it into a position it did not want to be in and subject it to strain. Morgyn didn't want to obtain a good-quality scar and put it under strain.

When Dr Dubrow showed Dr Nassif Morgyn's photographs, he stated, "It wasn't fixable." Dr Nassif questioned how anyone could transfer the scars without shifting a large amount of tissue.

And if a large amount of tissue is eliminated, there will be too much strain. Too much stress meant a bigger scar, which Morgyn didn't want.

Dr Dubrow believed it was feasible to pull up the scar and determine how much could be pushed over, as well as weigh the scar's displacement against the amount of force used. However, he warned Morgyn that even if he shifted it a little, certain sections may appear strange or deformed.

Dr Dubrow began Morgyn's procedure by administering local anesthetics all over her scar and arms. He then created an incision along the exterior of the scar and began undermining the tissue.

Dr Dubrow stapled her arm closed to evaluate skin laxity and then removed the majority of the existing scar. Finally, he closed the wound and moved the incision closer to the inside of her arms.

The first piece of positive news was that Morgyn had circulation to her hand immediately following surgery. Dr. Dubrow not only eliminated the huge scar but also relocated it.
