MEAWW previously reported a similar incident in which an Arizona couple vanished while kayaking in Mexico on Thanksgiving. Corey Allen and Yeon-Su Kim went missing while kayaking on a beach close to Rocky Point, Mexico, popularly known as Puerto Penasco. On November 24, before the fatal event, they were seen having fun with their daughter.
Lux, the couple's 14-year-old daughter, was escorted to the shore by Allen when the weather changed before Allen returned to assist his wife, according to GoFundMe. Around 6 o'clock, authorities launched a thorough search with the aid of volunteers and rescue organizations because the parents could never return to the shore. Police claimed to have discovered a body on the beach on Sunday, November 27, that they suspect to be one of the missing parents, however, they did not specify which one.
