TAMPA, FLORIDA: It's been more than a year since the death of Gabby Petito. The 22-year-old budding influencer was strangled to death by her fiance, Brian Laundrie, while on a trip. Till now, the Petito family is trying to cope with their loss. Gabby's parents are now channeling their pain to help other domestic violence victims.

Where is Gabby Petito buried?
Gabby's death date is reported to be somewhere between August 22 and 29, 2021. And, the person of interest in her death was held to be her fiance, Brian. Her body was discovered on the edge of Grand Teton National Park. Her parents picked up her remains from the Wyoming mortuary after almost two months after her death. After the confirmation of Gabby's death, a public funeral ceremony was organized by her parents and close ones in Long Island, Blue Point, New York. According to iHeart, her ashes were scattered at Grand Teton National Park.
Gabby's father Joe had shared a picture of Jenny Lake at Wyoming national park in October 2021, with the caption, "I now know why you came here. #gabbypetito has a beautiful view from now on. Love you, and miss you." Gabby's stepmother Tara and mother Nicole Schmidt shared their picture at Jenny Lake. "Two moms out at Jenny Lake, taking in the beauty of it all," Tara captioned the post.

As of now, Gabby's parents are raising awareness for those who are victims of domestic violence. Moreover, they also reportedly donated $100,000 to the National Domestic Violence Hotline to help survivors of abusive relationships. The Petito family even began fundraising, aiming to help families find their missing children.
