INSKIP, LANCASHIRE:  The sister of missing Esra Uyrun sobbed when she learned of the bizarre similarities between the Nicola Bulley case and Uyrun's disappearance. On February 23, 2011, mother-of-one Uyrun disappeared after leaving her home in the west Dublin neighborhood of Clondalkin.

However, the question of her disaaperance still haunts her family. Nicola has been missing since Friday, January 27, and she was last seen walking her dog along the River Wyre off of Garstang Road in St Michael's on Wyre, Lancashire. Whilst, not many know about Uyrun's case. Therefore, let's have a deeper dive into the intricacies of the case.

Where is Esra Uyrun?

There are no signs of finding Uyrun yet. The Garda Serious Crime Review Team is meticulously going through the case file in the hopes of learning what happened to the then 38-year-old, as reported by Independent. Meanwhile, Berna Fidan, Uyrun's sister, has been devastated by the news of the shocking Nicola Bulley case, as she finds an eerie similarity between both cases.

Fidan said, "Oh my God, I just sat and cried because I couldn't believe it, and I'm thinking that's yet another woman. It upsets me now to see it on the news every day here. And they're still looking for her." She further added, "This time of the year is always hard for us. It's just unbelievable that so many years have passed. The pain hasn't gone away. We talk about her every day," as reported by the Irish Mirror.

On February 23, 2011, shortly after 7.15 am, Uyrun left her home in Collinstown Grove in Clondalkin, West Dublin, to buy milk. That was the last time her family saw her alive. Later, her Renault Twingo was found parked at the base of Bray Head in County Wicklow, but CCTV footage was unable to identify the driver and since there were no signs of her, according to Websleuths

Bulley has been missing since Friday, January 27. The phone of the 45-year-old was discovered on a bench near the river. However, according to the Independent, police were not treating Bulley's disappearance as suspicious and instead treating it as a "tragic case of a missing person" but now investigation has been initiated. A thorough search for Bulley is still being conducted, but no progress has been made despite the fact that cops have been thinking she may have fallen into the river.
