NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Baby Ken, aka Tyler Dyvig, returned to 'Botched,' ready to bid farewell to his problematic bicep implants after acknowledging Dr Terry Dubrow advice. He recounted a tale of agony and betrayal, eventually opting for removal. Tyler sought Dr Dubrow for aid with his biceps, which had moved to his armpit. He was having flahses right down his arm.

Tyler sought Dr Dubrow's aid as his implants had migrated to his armpit, causing discomfort down his arm. Post-surgery, he expressed relief that the implants were gone, noting his biceps hadn't shrunk as much as anticipated. With a revamped diet and gym routine, he aimed to regain his former shape, sans silicone.

In February, Tyler and Justin Jedlica caught up with Dr. Dubrow. Despite Tyler's initial blame on Justin for the implant mishap, they appeared to be on good terms. Tyler, now transitioning from the "Ken Doll" world, looked impeccable as he pursued a career as a nurse practitioner.

Who is Tyler Dyvig aka Baby Ken?

His plastic existence took a perilous turn when "Baby Ken," spending around $117,000 on a black-market Brazilian butt lift in 2021, faced a life-threatening situation. Tyler, a New York native, delved into cosmetic treatment at 15, developing a penchant for the scalpel. With over 47,000 Instagram followers, he underwent pectoral augmentation, bicep implants, and a hair transplant.

“I decided to go down the black market route, as I didn’t have enough fat to get a Brazilian butt lift, and I didn’t want implants because they feel so unnatural,” the influencer said to Jam Press. Tyler said that when he walked in for the treatments, which cost him $1,500 each session, it appeared to be a typical surgery.

"These injections were done by a nurse in her apartment, where you walk in and are taken into a back room with loads of sealed vials," Tyler said. "All of them looked completely safe, and she claimed it was ‘good stuff’ inside that she had been administering for years." “I had her do a very thick silicone so it wouldn’t migrate, and she applied nail glue to close the incisions, so this didn’t leak out,” Tyle added. “I was in excruciating pain, but I was happy with the results.”

Despite being confident in the nurse's credentials, things did not go as planned for the young adult. "For the first week, I was fine, but then I started noticing weird symptoms, where I felt weak, dizzy, and short of breath," Tyler stated. "I thought nothing of it until I had intense chest pain and noticed my standing heart rate was really fast." He also claimed to have undergone six syringes of cosmetic filler in his jawline, which left him in a scary state.

"Three hours later, my speech became impaired, and I kept blacking out—I thought I was having a stroke," Tyler added. Tyler was transported to the hospital, where he was originally diagnosed with supraventricular tachycardia—a rapid speeding of the heartbeat—but was subsequently told he had postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, an autoimmune ailment that causes the heart to quicken under certain conditions.

“Due to the silicone injection toxin, my body’s autonomic nervous system took a big hit,” said Tyler. “Now I have issues with regulating blood pressure, and I’m always dizzy, as well as being tired all the time – which I wasn’t before.” According to the influencer, multiple plastic surgeons have recommended he leave the silicone injections in his body since they risk poisoning his system if removed.

“I was beyond lucky that the silicone wasn’t injected into any artery or vein, as I would’ve died of an embolism,” said Tyler. “It makes me sick to my stomach that I took such a risk by letting someone who wasn’t even a registered doctor play with my life.” Tyler also said that the underground treatment led him to become sluggish and separate himself from his friends. Tyler said the whole event has made him reconsider his need for surgery.

“It’s completely changed my outlook on life, as I’m no longer driven by plastic surgery,” said Tyler. He also stated that his close encounter with death inspired him to educate people about the hazards of black-market injections and to pursue a career as a registered nurse practitioner.

What happened to Tyler Dyvig aka Baby Ken in 'Botched' Season 8?

Tyler, Justin Jedlica, aka the human Ken doll's buddy and fellow cosmetic implant lover, made his debut appearance on 'Botched' Season 7 with a bothersome bicep implant. He wanted Dr Dubrow to place the right implant "where it should be" since it "didn’t feel as well incorporated" with his body as his left arm.

Sadly for Tyler, Dr Dubrow then proposed that he remove the implants entirely, since his body "was having issues" with the foreign things. The doctor also stated that he could "in two seconds" switch the renegade bicep implant. The influencer decided not to get the implant corrected and made the difficult decision to discontinue his body-alteration adventure entirely.

Dr Dubrow noted that the implants were not ideal for Tyler and, if left alone, may cause substantial nerve damage. During his medical examination, Dr Dubrow discovered Tyler's implant malposition is causing serious problems for his health. Fortunately, the implants were not trapped in one spot, but they were pushing up against nerves and big blood vessels, which proved difficult during the surgery. After making minor incisions, Dr Dubrow removed his implants.

What happened between 'Botched' stars Tyler Dyvig and Justin Jedlica?

During the 'Botched' episode, Tyler stated that when individuals are young, they encounter mentors who might lead them down destructive paths. According to him, Justin proved to be that mentor. When Tyler met Justin, he became his best buddy. Tyler laments not forging his own path and instead following Justin's.

"It was a failure," he lamented. Justin designed the implants that went into Tyler's biceps. Now that he suspects he is allergic to the silicone in his body, he believes it would be irresponsible to ignore Dr Dubrow's advice and have the implants removed. He even wanted to hurl the implants at Justin's head once they were removed.
