She shared her issues with them, explaining how she ended up with scars on her stomach after receiving contaminated B12 shots at a fraudulent med spa.

Beatriz expressed her desire to get rid of the scars, which is why she turned to the expertise of the 'Botched' doctors for treatment.

Beatriz revealed that it was later on that she discovered the med spa was corrupt and lacked a practicing certificate.

"Alarmingly I found out this med spa was fraudulent. All of it was fake. They didn't even have a medical director and they didn't even have insurance to be practicing," she revealed on 'Botched'.

Who is Beatriz from 'Botched' Season 8?

Beatriz, a former powerlifter and competitive athlete from Los Angeles, California, faced a life-altering situation when contaminated injections from the "fraudulent" med spa resulted in life-threatening symptoms.

The injections not only jeopardized her health but also left her with permanent scars on her stomach.

When Beatriz visited the doctors on 'Botched', she carried the weight of worry, as she shared her harrowing medical experience. The contaminated injections, which were supposed to help boost her health, turned into a nightmare that almost took her life.

The scars on her stomach now serve as a constant reminder of the life-threatening consequences of her decision to seek procedures at the aforementioned spa.

While recounting her frightening medical journey to the 'Botched' doctors, Beatriz expressed deep regret for choosing the med spa.

During her visit, the doctors' frustration and fury were evident as they learned about the ignorance of the med spa, which had put the young social media influencer's life at risk.

What happened to 'Botched' Season 8 patient Beatriz?

Beatriz candidly told the doctors that she went to the med spa for B12 shots, unaware that they were contaminated.

Right after taking the shots, she felt uneasy and sensed something was wrong. "The next day, almost immediately, I started to feel groggy at around 3'o o'clock," she confessed to Dr. Paul Nassif.

The doctors swiftly identified that the infected injection caused bacterial clumps in her bloodstream. "Obviously you know this, I'm sure; those were contaminated. You had balls of bacteria in your bloodstream," added Dr. Nassiff.

The toxins and infection caused by the contaminated shots led to severe complications, leaving her with visible scars.
