The specialists from 'Botched Bariatrics' helped AliceJean resume a more normal life by removing her pain and illness. The surgeons were able to remove her six belly buttons, the rash, the extra skin, and the hernia issues, even though it was one of the most difficult procedures.
Soon after her surgery from the TLC doctors, she could go back to her life, chill by the pool with her husband, and not care for anyone in the world. After getting rid of her extra belly buttons, she sure found her confidence back.
Who is AliceJean in 'Botched Bariatrics'?
Seven years ago, AliceJean had a botched bariatric surgery that left her with a golf course on her stomach, as she revealed to the TLC cameras. She was disturbed by the additional skin left over following her weight reduction.
"The pain, the rashes, and the holes in my stomach. That's horrible," she went on.
And all that was actually communicated to her about what went wrong was, "It was definitely not my fault." She felt "disgusting," as she was developing more and more infections under her stomach every day.
AliceJean has always struggled with her weight. She used to be the fattest child in the neighborhood when she was younger.
She spent her senior year preparing for the prom every day, but no one asked her. Furthermore, she was informed by a family member, "That's because you're too fat."
AliceJean gained fifty pounds after becoming pregnant after high school, but she didn't care. "I had my little girl, and that's all that mattered to me," she said.

Why did 'Botched Bariatrics' patient AliceJean get weight loss surgery?
Sadly, her daughter died at the age of two, which sent her into a downward spiral. The last straw for her proved to be a terrible divorce that she went through.
She only wanted to spend time with her child now that her husband and daughter were gone. She thought to herself at the moment, "I would eat myself to death."
After that, she met Charlie, her now-husband. When they were married, she weighed 350 pounds, but he didn't mind since he loved her for who she was.
In 1995, the couple adopted a son, and she was overjoyed to be able to hold a child in her arms once more. It wasn't until her son grew older and other children began making fun of him that her weight became an issue.
AliceJean ultimately turned her life around with a weight-loss operation, knowing she had to do something to save her son from experiencing more humiliation.
What happened to AliceJean in 'Botched Bariatrics'?
AliceJean disclosed to the doctors of 'Botched Bariatrics' that she underwent an lap-band procedure in 2012.
Subsequently, she discovered that the lap-band had to be removed due to erosion.
By the time doctors removed the lap-band, she had serious infections. Now, the area hurts and feels like a muscular spasm.
She becomes so rigid that she is unable to speak. She desired to regain her self-assurance and ignore the opinions of others.
AliceJean was told by Dr Neil Kundu that she had a little abdominal hole. Her pain was essentially caused by the hernia.
According to Dr Yasir Khan's assessment, unlike AliceJean's, patients shouldn't have discomfort years after having prior bariatric surgery or where the port was placed. He pointed out that this can be a sign of a more serious issue.
To find the hernia, Dr Kundu cut off all the extra skin that was resting on her thighs. After entering, Dr Khan repaired the hernia.
