Where is Aaron Erb now? Former 'The Bachelorette' contestant fires back at accusations
MONTGOMERY, AL: Aaron Erb, a contestant on Season 21 of 'The Bachelorette', addressed Bachelor Nation's concerns about the show being "so scripted" by sharing a series of Air Force photos on Instagram. Aaron aims to connect with those who are skeptical about him, believe the show is overly scripted, or have negative feelings toward him.
"For the “wow the show is so scripted” crowd… Phase 1 of the plan is in motion. Introducing for the first time 2nd Lt Erb 🫡 Next stop Air Force pilot training ✈️," the contender for Jenn Tran wrote alongside an album of photos from his time at Maxwell Air Force Base Officer Training School in Alabama, showcasing him in his uniforms.
Noah Erb backs Aaron Erb following brother's 'The Bachelorette' Season 21 exit
Longtime viewers of the show might not be surprised that Aaron had a bit of a villainous edge during Jenn's season of The Bachelorette, considering that his twin brother, Noah Erb, also played a somewhat villainous role during his own season 'The Bachelorette'.
Noah defended his brother Aaron on Instagram after his elimination and post, saying, "You don’t need to explain anything 😤 I’ve seen how hard you’ve worked for this the last few years, go make our country proud "
For those who might not be up to date, Noah made a return to television on 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 7. There, he eventually fell in love with Abigail Heringer, a former cast member and now his fiancée, after his elimination from 'The Bachelorette' Season 16.
Aaron Erb self-eliminates early on 'The Bachelorette' Season 21
In 'The Bachelorette' Episode 3, which aired on ABC on Monday, July 22, it was reported that Aaron self-eliminated after receiving a call from his Air Force supervisor. The call reportedly confirmed his dates for fighter pilot training and issued a warning.
Aaron stated that he had just one day to choose between staying on the program and pursuing the goal he had been working toward for over a year. In the end, Aaron bid farewell to Jenn and warned her that some of the men who remained might not be there for the right reasons.
Aaron Erb accused of being a 'producer plant' in 'The Bachelorette' Season 21
Bachelor Nation members began to question whether Aaron was merely a pawn of the producers, intended to create drama, given his history on the show. (he came, he met Jenn, he spent most of his screen time fighting with Devin Strader, and he even gave him what seemed to be a fake self-help book as a nod to his brother Noah's own Bachelorette drama).
Others believed Aaron's time on Season 21 was simply too chaotic to be real, pointing to his conflicts with Devin, the poorly timed supervisor call, and his apparent intention to stir up controversy before departing.
Was he a plant producer? Was the Air Force where he was supposed to go? These questions prompted among Bachelor Nation following Aaron's exit made the former contestant come clean through his recent Instagram post.
