Netflix’s ‘Love is Blind’ experiments with love. The contestants in the show are kept in separate pods, where they are allowed to talk with each other but cannot see each other. Only after they get engaged with their chosen one do they get to meet them in person. Furthermore, it is up to the couple whether they want to tie the knot or not after seeing each other.

Love is Blind’ cast members Lyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones were among the few who decided to walk down the aisle. Jones' first choice on the show was Mallory Zapata. After she turned him down, he went after McNeely. Even though McNeely was Jones’ second choice, Jones was always her first. After several ups and downs, the couple decided to tie the knot, but did the marriage last? Keep reading to know where Jones and McNeely are currently.

Jones and McNeely decided to file for divorce

On August 17, Jones and McNeely revealed on Instagram that they have separated and will be filing for divorce. They claim to still have love for each other, but are now going in different directions in life. Moreover, Jones and McNeely asked fans to give them some space as they go through the divorce process. They further thanked the show and the platform for giving them the opportunity and experience.

McNeely says she has learned her lesson

McNeely recently opened up about her divorce on the ‘Diary of an Empathy’ podcast. The star confessed that she is going through a significant transition. With ‘Love is Blind: After the Altar’ coming out, she is afraid that she will have to relive the situation. However, the hardest part for her is explaining it to people. Now focusing on her growth, the divorce taught her that she should never be involved with someone who considers her his second choice. Besides that, McNeely and Jones had major differences that led to the marriage falling apart. McNeely is now happily single and wishes her future partner to have emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and intuition.

Jones is vacationing a lot

Jones, on the other hand, seems to be doing well after the divorce. He is currently vacationing in Costa Rica. A week before, Jones posted a photo of himself saying, "Life is good." It looks like he is leading a rather tension-free life without McNeely.

‘Love is Blind: After the Altar’ Season2 is all set to release on Netflix on September 16 at 12 am ET.
