While 'Love is Blind' Season 1 gave us a lot of drama and hardly some closure, Netflix has finally decided to air Season 2, ‘Love is Blind: After The Altar’. ‘Marriage is not easy, if anybody tells you differently, it’s a lie,’ Jarrette Jones exclaims in the trailer for 'Love Is Blind: After the Altar', which will premiere Friday, September 16. What happened to the couples and singles from 'Love Is Blind' Season 2 after the weddings? "Love is truly blind, but is the future blurry?” the official synopsis asks.

The larger 'Love is Blind' franchise has been a reality television gold mine for Netlfix since the first season premiered in 2020. While the premise has received its fair share of criticism, it's one of the streamer's most popular programs. In the week of the finale's release, the dating competition became Netflix's number one show, encouraging the decision to greenlight a second season. So beloved has the show remained that it's now on the hook for three more seasons after a renewal earlier this year and it has both a Brazilian and Japanese adaptation.

Who all are starring in 'Love is Blind: After the Altar'?

The show mostly will continue the storyline of the contestants from its sophmore year. Hence, Kyle Abrams, Shaina Hurley, Iyanna McNeely, Jarrette Jones, Danielle Ruhl, Nick Thompson, Natalie Lee, Shayne Jansen, Abhishek "Shake" Chatterjee, Deepti Vempati, Mallory Zapata and Salvador Perez are expected to be seen. 

When will 'Love Is Blind: After the Altar' premiere? 

Like last year, 'Love is Blind: After the Altar' Season 2 consists of three separate 45-minute episodes to cap off the season. The show will exclusively drop on Netflix on September 16 at 12 am ET.
