Mike Flanagan's previous series from the mini-series franchise, 'Midnight Mass', was based on a small town and a priest who thought he was blessed by the "angel" of heaven, putting a town's existence in jeopardy. However, the new 'Midnight' series is a little different. It is adapted from Christopher Pike's 1994 novel under the same name, 'The Midnight Club'.

Flanagan had confirmed the cast in a series of tweets. This included Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, William Chris Sumpter and Sauriyan Sapkota to be cast as the main characters in the titular club and Heather Langenkamp as the doctor presiding over the hospice of the terminally ill. Zach Gilford and Matt Biedel, and Flanagan collaborator Samantha Sloyan will appear in recurring roles. In April 2021, Iman Benson, Larsen Thompson, William B Davis, Crystal Balint, and Patricia Drak joined the cast. Read more to find out when will the upcoming horror-mystery air.

The eight children meet at midnight every night to tell each other scary stories. One night they make a pact that the first one to succumb to their disease is responsible for communicating with the others from beyond the grave. After one of them dies, bizarre occurrences begin.
