LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: A dystopian drama named 'Silo' is dropping soon on Apple TV+. The series, created by Emmy-nominated screenwriter, Graham Yost, will have 10 episodes airing the first two on May 5, followed by a weekly release. The AMC Studios production 'Silo' stars Rebecca Ferguson, known for 'Dune' as the lead.

The series is based on the bestselling 'Silo' trilogy by author Hugh Howey by the same name. Previously named 'Wool', the sci-fi series takes place on a post-apocalyptic Earth where people live in The Silo, a subterranean city 144 stories below the surface. What is the plot of 'Silo'?

The dystopian drama series is set in a tragic and toxic future. Jules, an independent and hardworking engineer, lives in a community in a giant silo hundreds of stories deep, which is the only way to survive on a planet where the air is poisonous. The survivors are forced to follow strict rules they believe are meant to protect them. Juliette seeks answers about a loved one's murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don't kill you, the truth will.
