What is 'Instructions Generales En Forme De Catechisme'? ‘The Curse of Oak Island’ fans hope team finds rare book
NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA: Rick Lagina and Marty Lagina are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to uncover the buried treasure on Oak Island.
On Friday, March 22, 'The Curse of Oak Island' team posted on their Instagram page about a rare book titled 'Instructions Generales En Forme De Catechisme.' They believe this book could potentially provide additional codes and clues about the island, aiding them in their mission to uncover the legendary treasure hidden there
The dynamic duo believes that Tomb Four of the 1824 Instructions Generales En Forme De Catechisme could hold the key to unraveling the secrets of Oak Island.
"Thank you to all our Oak Island fans for the overwhelming response to yesterday’s post regarding the team’s rare book search. However, we realize that our request requires some further clarification," they started by writing.
The members of the History's longtime show further added, "The most important book to the team is a single copy Tome Four of the 1824 Instructions Generales En Forme De Catechisme, that may contain, what we believe, is a hand drawn sketch of Oak Island on page 418. Our research indicates that this book was last sold to a person or entity in February of 2019."
The statement continued, "The copies we are looking for are one-of-a-kind as they contain notes, markings, ciphers, and drawings inside and outside the margins of the books. These hand drawn additions are not part of the original printing but were added by a person or persons at some point."
"Once again, many thanks for the support and response you’ve given us in answer to our post.. It is very much appreciated, but we urge you to not purchase anything on our behalf. These are very rare books and will not be easily found. The most effective way to help is by sending Information and leads to OakIslandResearchTeam@gmail.com," they concluded.
Soon after, fans of the show began rallying behind the Lagina brothers as they continued their search for the book.
One social media user wrote, "It’s crazy to think that this book still exists but hopefully it will be found and help all of us figure out this mystery ❤❤❤❤." Another user said, "I sure hope you find it. Love you guys. I’m right there with you all. 💙💙💙." While another wrote, "🙏 I hope you can acquire it. This is so exciting. Great season."
