TikTok creator Vanessa Funes, also known as Cutcreaser compares the trending artwork to the "puffy stickers" that everyone used to stick on their notebooks in the third grade — but with a twist. The artist was inspired by Elaine Corredor's chrome clustered TikTok video and a few 3D artists like Ines Alpha, who created makeup for Charli XCX's latest album, Charli.

Although achieving symmetry on both eyes can be difficult, Funes offers a trick to get almost-identical shapes: "Create one piece [you like], peel it off the steel palette, flip it so that it's reversed, and place it next to your palette; then, copy the reversed design." Funes also used a pencil to draw the shape on a steel palette before using a hot glue gun to trace it over.
How can you create this look?
To frame your eyes, squirt the glue into shapes - like zig-zags, squiggles, circles - on a stainless steel surface so it can peel off easily. Only when the glue is dry (after about five minutes), you can use these designs to be put on.

Artists have gotten even more creative by adding chrome shadows to dried pieces for a pop of color since glue comes in only one bland color. All you need is a makeup sponge to apply the shimmer directly to the dried glue, much like chrome nail powder or metallic eyeshadow. Once you've done that, you'll need to apply a small amount of eyelash glue to make it stick to your face.
