A new TikTok trend by the name of 'Belial, Behemoth, Beelzebub' has been taking over the video-sharing app, especially the side that loves to watch and share pictures and videos of their furry friends. Unlike the name, the trend is adorable and bhilarious, where pet owners share the most silly photos and videos of their pets.

In the trend, a song is played, the lyrics of which are the names of the biblical rulers of hell, "Belial, Behemoth, Beelzebub, Asmodeus, Satanus, Lucifer." The original song is 'Year Zero' by Ghost. The videos start with pets doing something in a video clip which then freezes at a point when the pet has a very creepy and hilarious expression as soon as the demon's name is mentioned in the song. Then it cuts to a different clip following the same pattern. As there are six different devils mentioned, owmers put up six different clips of their pets.

Who started the trend?

According to Know Your Meme, the trend started in September after a TikTok user @carponasi shared a video of his black cat to this song with the caption, "My cats as the 6 demons." The video gained about 500,000 views in just a week. That was how this trend started before it gained popularity. The videos that helped the spread of this trend garnered a lot more attention and as the trend grew, more and more people began sharing hilarious and "cursed" videos of their pets.

On September 19, a user named @winston_da_ween shared a video of their dog as paet of the trend. The clips shared were more hilarious and thus the trend began to spread. This video got over 12.7 million views in just four days. Later on September 21, user @ladyandtheblues shared videos of their dog which gained 20 million views in just two days.

The comments on these viral videos portray how much love this trend is receiving and it is not just the pet owners who are enjoying the trend.
