'Welcome to Plathville' star Ethan's anger is a concern, fans miss his 'happy grin'
With Season 3 of 'Welcome to Plathville' here, fans are now curious as to how the older Plath kids are going to deal with their parents this season.
So far, Micah and Moriah have managed to strike the right balance with Kim and Barry, but maintaining a healthy distance, but still staying in contact. Lydia, who slowly seems to be losing her freedom, might have to make an interesting choice when she turns 18 -- stay with her parents or pursue a romantic relationship that seems to be budding. And then there is Ethan and Olivia, who were briefly doing well, but now, are at odds ends.

Ethan and Olivia seem to want very different things out of life, and with Ethan agreeing to all of her changes, it does look like he is getting the short end of the stick. Moreover, he has repeatedly spoken about how he still has a lot of anger towards his parents and resents them for not letting him see his siblings. His anger is very evident this season, as Ethan has begun to shut himself out and is no longer the smiling person fans were familiar with. Instead, he seems more crestfallen and often avoids social situations altogether. Fans have picked up on this behaviour change and are genuinely worried for the reality star.
"Is it just me or really Ethan isn't the same no more he's always so serious quiet not like he used to just goofing around I kinda miss that I understand it could be cuz of marriage problems but I've noticed that a lot he hardly smiles #WelcomeToPlathville" pointed out a fan. "When Ethan does his interviews you can just tell his changed…he used to be so happy and goofy and now he's just silent #WelcomeToPlathville" stated another. "You can tell that Ethan is just a shell of who he used to be. I miss that big happy grin he used to have. I hope things get better for him. #WelcomeToPlathville" agreed another. "The best thing for Ethan to do is keep going to therapy. It's the only way any relationships his will ever last. #welcometoplathville" chimed in a user.

Some fans were quick to hop on board and blame Olivia entirely for Ethan's current situation, seeing that she is now coaxing him to move to Tallahassee, while he'd much rather stay in a small town. However, many fans believe that Olivia isn't the issue here -- the pair got married far too young and, in general, had the odds against them.
"Ethan and Olivia got married too young. I'm not saying it's impossible but a camera crew, national attention and a nightmare Monster In Law won't help #WelcomeToPlathville" tweeted a fan. "Yes guys I get it, ethan is sad and lost but that is because he was never taught how to have grown up feelings, grown up relationships that are complex and require the ability to understand and communicate w/someone different than you. IT IS NOT OLIVIAS FAULT #welcometoplathville" argued another.
