If you have been keeping up with the Plath family over the years, then you know that there was seldom any wiggle room when it came to their rules and regulations. However, a lot has changed over the years. While some Plath kids have grown emotionally and mentally over the seasons, it looks like Season 4 is now all about Kim, Barry and their crumbling marriage

There is nothing easy about getting a divorce. While Kim and Barry have been married for over 25 years, it looks like not all of those years have been happy ones, with Kim wanting out. While Kim has moved out of the family home altogether and has been living in the couple's many rental properties, it looks like she has finally come around to talking to her children about her separation. And it turns out, they seem to feel a certain kind of way about how all the events played out.

'Welcome to Plathville': Is Micah Plath dating someone new?

As Kim sat down with her children to talk to them about the changes that were going on, Amber, who is 13 years old, certainly had a few notions when it came to their situation. In the preview clip, Amber is seen telling her mother that if she is the one who doesn't want to stay, she should be the one to move away. In her confessionals, Kim addresses this issue, noting that the reason she doesn't want to stay is because of Barry and that it is not entirely fair to pin the blame on her, as both their actions led to their situation. However, she does understand where Amber is coming from with her reasoning.

Amber, on the other hand, seems to feel as though her father got the short end of the stick, seeing that he even got Kim the studio. While Kim explained that her stay would be ideal seeing that she has more free time as opposed to Barry, it looks like not everyone is on board with the idea just yet.

With the younger Plath kids leaning towards Barry side, do you think their relationship with Kim is now strained? Also, with Kim and Barry yet to tell Ethan about the news, will affect their relationship as well? Sound off in the comments below.

'Welcome To Plathville' Season 4 airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm ET/PT on TLC.
