'Welcome to Plathville' Season 4: Fans support Barry over split, say Kim left him 'confused' with 'no clue'

Ever since fans were introduced to the Plath family back in Season 1, it was clear as day that Kim and Barry ruled their home with an iron fist. Brought up with strict religious beliefs and homeschooling, the Plath kids had little to no freedom when it came to their lives. But, as the older ones started rebelling, things changed.

Season 4, however, seems like a far cry from Season 1. The latest season is less about the Plath kids and more about Kim, who is now rediscovering herself. And it has come at the cost of her marriage, seeing that she and Barry are now separating.

Seeing that Kim has already moved out, Barry sat down with the kids to talk to them about what has been going on. Although he was unable to give them any real answers, seeing that he was figuring things out himself, he used this time to check in on the children and see what they were all up to. Over the course of the conversation, Barry got emotional, while he reminded the kids that none of this was their fault and that no one should blame themselves for what happened. In turn, the children were supportive of their father, stating that it takes a real man to be vulnerable with his emotions. Fans, who've always had strong opinions about Barry, now seem to be rallying on his side.

'Welcome To Plathville' Season 4 airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm ET/PT on TLC.
