Ni'Cola's battle with cancer

After meeting a young girl who is an aspiring writer, at her book release, Ni'cola found herself feeling more alive than ever. She decides to bring forth a platform that will help inspire the minds of young women. This leads her to launch a platform - Brunch For Girls, one of the biggest projects she's ever worked on. This platform is aimed to motivate, help and guide all the young women who are stuck in a loop of the miserable cycles of self-doubt because society doesn't see them as enough. After the launch of her first event, her platform seems to be growing with more and more recognition and Ni'Cola's efforts to bring all young girls together seem to be paying off. But amidst all this, Ni'Cola gets a piece of horrible news. She has developed cancer in her cervical and though curable, Ni'Cola has to go through several treatments that are bound to leave her fragile and vulnerable. She finds herself feeling perplexed and doesn't know what to do. So what does she do?

Ni'Cola finds reassurance and strength

Feeling overwhelmed and underconfident, Ni'Cola visits her mentor from school who assisted her when she was trying to get into college while being a single mother. Her mentor rightly points out how brave Ni'Cola has always been and reminds her of many struggles she has been able to go through. That's exactly what is needed at a point of weakness, if you have the right ones around you, they'll remind you of your strength and will always be there to bring your spirits up. After finding the strength she seemed to have forgotten, not only did Ni'Cola beat cancer, but she was also able to carry on her work with some help. In the end, we see how big of a success another event of Brunch For Girls was. Adding to the list of triumphs was the huge donation Ni'cola got from a company she had earlier approached to. Her story truly marks a great example of what one can achieve if they don't lose faith in themselves. Survival is an art, and it seems like Ni'Cola has been a master at it since the beginning!
