Contestants tried to stop Brianna from talking to Zach
Brianna claimed on the 'Bachelor Happy Hour' podcast that some of the ladies on the Season 27 of 'The Bachelor' thought she shouldn't spend time with Zach on the first night because she already had a rose secured. Brianna, on the other hand, noted that people didn't know that while she was protected, "this was also my first opportunity to really get to know Zach as well. Outside of what you all saw on TV, Zach and I didn't really get a chance to speak." Brianna revealed that the other ladies that night said she didn't need to talk to Zach because she was safe. They also asked why she wore that outfit when she could have just as easily worn sweatpants. the " Bachelor' contestant explained, "No, guys, I'm here for the same experience as you." Brianna, on the other hand, explained that there were many nice girls, including Davia Bunch and Greer Blitzer, who had gotten the first impression of Zach's rose and even told her that they had voted for her.
Brianna went on to add that several of the ladies tried to physically prevent her from talking to Zach. Brianna stated, "I finally got to talk to him. It was like maybe 4.30 am, and literally, people were physically trying to get in the way of me going in there." She stated that she was expecting Zach's conversation "to have a little lull, and people were like you better not go in there...You already have a rose." Brianna went on to say that she realized that the rose might have caused worry and tension among the other girls who did not have one, so she tried not to parade it, even though she had to walk around with it all night.
Brianna had a special mention, a person she claims tried to 'put me down'
"Besides from an obvious person who went out of their way to put me down," Brianna recalled, "most people were nice." Although she did not give the person's name at the time of the podcast, the most recent episode of the show may have given it away.
Brianna claimed on Monday, January 30, 2023, that she doesn't feel "safe" on the show. She admitted to having a lot of jitters throughout the show. She called herself "shaky" and said she was "running in place" on the episode. Brianna and contestant Christina Mandrell dominated the drama on Monday's episode.
As per Brianna, Christina said during the show's premiere that her dress was made of roses and that she looked wonderful in it, adding, "I hate you." On the episode, Brianna claimed it felt like a smack in the face.
Brianna said that she found this quite upsetting. She told Christina she wasn't sure she felt "safe" on the show, prompting Christina to apologize and explain she didn't recall making the remark. "I’m so sorry that your feelings were hurt and that it was on my behalf. I’m so sorry that I don’t actually remember saying that," Christina said.
Christina, according to Brianna, made "a mean comment to me." Christina's statement, "You look beautiful. And I hate you. Just kidding!" was replayed during the episode.
Zach declined an invitation to join the feud, citing his dislike of drama.
