The most-awaited election is over and the results are finally out. It is Harald Finehair all the way. Despite many votes from electors, Bjorn does not win the race for the king of Norway and Harald gets crowned instead. This indeed comes across as a big surprise.

One fan, just like us, is in utter shock "#vikingsseason6 wait wasn't Bjorn Waging War against King Harald last season why the f**k did he make him king of Norway?"
Similarly, another user commented, "King Hareld?  WTF just happened? #historyvikings #vikingsseason6"

When Olaf decided to crown Bjorn as the king, without any contest, we had almost taken it as a confirmation. But then Bjorn didn’t want to assume power and position without any contest.

Hence, the election was planned. However, the results were in stark contrast to what we had assumed or expected. This has taken fans by sheer surprise and shock and they think there's more scheme brewing with Harald and that his win might have been rigged.

An ardent fan commented, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Olaf knew exactly what he was doing pitting Harold and Bjorn against each other for king of Norway. He saved his own head. #Vikings #HistoryVikings"

He added, "Now, the question is, what will King Olaf get in return for seeing to it that Harold is king of all Norway? #Vikings #HistoryVikings."

Another fan thinks that Bjorn will not let this go easily. "Bjorn ain't goin let that shit GO believe that #Vikings6 #vikingsseason6," she says.

We did see the electors casting the majority of votes for Bjorn, and Harald's win just not seem justified enough. After the crowning, at the feast, even Olaf pointed it out to Harald that he is surprised how he won the election.

But if truth be told, this seems to be a deeper, twisted plan of Olaf to pit Harald and Bjorn against each other. Earlier, they were working as allies and it could be detrimental for Olaf. But now with this win, Bjorn will be left striving to outdo Harald in some way or the other.

'Vikings' Season 6 airs every Wednesday at 9 pm only on History Channel.
