Video shows tourist knocking down GF before assaulting airport workers over 'big queues'
A furious tourist attacked two airport employees at Bristol Airport, knocking his girlfriend to the ground while he was on his way to join an easyJet aircraft to Alicante on Friday, June 17. The video of the incident was shared on Twitter, where it has received close to 90,000 views since then.
Video captures the tourist's girlfriend screaming at a worker wearing a high-visibility jacket in front of shocked passengers. He then pushes his partner to the floor as the crowd gasps and further assaults the employee. The vacationer then punches one of the employees in the footage before shoving the second while his girlfriend watches. The worker who was struck quickly separates the angry man from his coworker as he attempts to call for security. The woman then pushes him back, and his coworker gets up and joins them in their argument. As her partner yells, "I dropped all of yous," she starts saying, "f**k off" repeatedly to the onlookers. The video concludes with the employee who got assaulted handing the woman her suitcase while a second man enters and attempts to console her.

The video has taken the internet by storm. A user jokingly wrote under the video, "Imagine having a missus like that," to which a user responded "Even worse. Imagine having a fella that hops you off a wall?" Another user commented, "Just goes to show the dangers of big queues at airports. People losing their cool." "Where ever those 2 were going to, that Country is better off without them anyway," a user mockingly wrote. "I'm sorry but did he just throw his gf against the wall/to the floor," another user commented.

A spokesperson for Bristol Airport informed The Sun: “Anti-social, violent, or threatening behaviour will not be accepted by Bristol Airport or airlines. "Whilst such incidents are rare, we take them very seriously and will fully support any police investigation.”
Steve Rich, who saw the altercation, told BristolLive: "All of a sudden the passenger just threw a fist over one of the guy's shoulders, and just caught the security guard on the mouth." The 33-year-old Wiltshire resident said it was "unnecessary" and offended several viewers."The two girls who were working the (gate) were in floods of tears because it's scary for them. Before the security arrived you've got these two people saying, 'how are you going to stop us getting through to get on this flight?'" "They were in tears and there were kids everywhere, I had my six-year-old."
