‘You experience love every day’: Valerie Bertinelli shares heartwarming message on V-Day after divorcing Tom Vitale
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Valerie Bertinelli, a celebrated Food Network star, has shared a heartwarming message with her fans on Valentine’s Day. Her social media post comes after her divorce from Tom Vitale was finally settled last year. In the post, she reshared a post from author Nanea Hoffman, who manages @SweatpantsAndCoffee. "Just a reminder that you experience love every single day if you're paying attention," said Hoffman. "It doesn't have to be chocolates and flowers and a fancy dinner with a partner. Love is when you get lost in something that lights you up."
The post ends with what many may refer to as a unique description of love, "You love and are loved every day." Bertnelli also shared a gif along with the post reading, "feel my hugs." In her earlier post this month, Bertinelli opened up about being attacked by people for her appearance and shared a clip. She captioned the video post, “It’s human nature; I get it; we’d rather not suffer the pain of facing the traumatic experiences or buried emotions that can hold us back. But I can tell you from experience that the growth in emotional intelligence that results from confronting these issues head-on with a clear head is nothing short of transformational. It takes an enormous amount of courage,” reports People.

'Self-love requires bravery to go within'
The 62-year-old star, who goes by the name @wolfiesmom on her Instagram handle, added, “Self-love requires the bravery to go within and face potential discomfort, but the rewards are invaluable in terms of personal development and enhanced self-actualization. 🏆 When we push these feelings away, they have a way of sneaking back into our lives and causing suffering. But if we face them with kindness and care, we can find resolution and rest.”
'I have been screamed at so many times'
In her emotional clip, many fans lauded her honesty and openness, Bertinelli said, "I have been screamed at so many times and told how fat and lazy I am. I realize…that was someone just projecting on me whatever they needed to project on me, but my part in all of it was believing it, and I don't believe it anymore. But it still doesn't stop the feelings from coming up and the hurt." The celebrity further said that "journaling, therapy, and especially humor” are helping her heal.
