A lot of CEOs and co-founders have appeared on ‘Undercover Boss’ and have realized that things are not as easy as they look. In the previous episode, we saw Paul Damico, former CEO and President of Round Table Pizza, getting to know how some things are holding the company back from getting much more attention from the customers. By the end of the episode, he took some really solid decisions to make things better for the customers as well as employees.

In the latest episode, the viewers saw Laurent Therivel, CEO of the US Cellular, appear on the CBS reality show and get to know how things are pretty problematic at the ground level. He met a lot of employees who are working hard and taking the company to a whole new level. Therivel went in as Matt and performed a lot of different tasks.

So, let’s get to know if these employees are still working with the company or not.

Alina

Therivel was really impressed when he met Alina in one of the stores and saw how she worked. He loved how she took care of the customers and knew what to say so that they buy their plans with the new phones. However, the systems were really out of place and it took almost an hour to change a plan. But when it comes to new customers, it can take up to almost 2 hours to do the same.

She didn’t have a good childhood and had to move out of her home at a very young age.
To make things better, he gave Alina a raise of $10,000 so that she could join the outreach team. He also gave her $50,000 to help her in life.

Her debts were cleared and she has financial stability. So, Alina is still working with the company.

Kyron

As a network engineer at US Cellular, Kyron had to overlook a lot of sites that needed maintenance at regular intervals. So, he had to maintain the generators of the cell towers because if there’s no power, people lose their network. When they started working, the generator took some time to start, but it did. That’s when Kyron told Laurent that he covers 635 sites as of now and when 5G comes, he would have to cover 2,635 sites. He would lose a lot of time and won’t be able to see his family.

Kyron also worked for Travis Mills Foundation and to make things better for him, the company donated $10 million to the foundation in the name of Kyron. Therivel also told him that he will get to see a Cowboys game and he will get a tour of the stadium and meet some players.

And that’s not it, he also gave him $75,000 for a family vacation.

Kyron is still working with US Cellular and getting ready for the family vacation.

Marco

Marco was one of the employees who was working the pre-paid stores. Although they are still on trial, Therivel realized that they need a lot of work. Marco told him that they sometimes don’t have the inventory of phones with them and they lose a lot of customers due to that problem. However, they don’t know who to talk to. So, they send emails to various people and it can take a week or two to get the inventory.

To make things better, Therivel announced that he is making the systems better so that he can directly reach the person concerned and get the inventory in just a couple of days.
Marco also took him out for a dinner and met his girlfriend, Paige. They are expecting a baby and thinking about getting married. So, Therivel gave him $15,000 for the wedding and honeymoon and an additional $40,000 for his son’s college fund.

Marco and Paige welcomed a baby boy and have named him Franco. Marco is also moving forward with his job at US Cellular.
