'Undercover Boss' Season 11: Are these Round Table Pizza employees still working there?
The ‘Undercover Boss’ is back and the latest episode didn’t waste any time in showing why viewers love the show. In the previous four episodes, we saw CEOs and founders of several companies donning a disguise to get to know more about their employees and companies. In the latest episode, it was Paul Damico, former CEO and President of Round Table Pizza, who made an appearance on the show and worked with his employees to know what the company has been missing.
Damico disguised as JJ, a delivery assistant, will be working at the cut and wrap station at the Round Table Pizza store in Elk Grove, California. The day started on a bad note because he was not fast enough at the counter and had to throw 2-3 pizzas inside the trash can. Then, they went for the deliveries and he didn’t do anything for tips.

However, things got worse when he reached an outlet in Washington and worked with Patrick. The outlet was one of the oldest and the machines were getting jammed because they were so old. Damico had a hard time at the takeout zone as well and he took his real name on one of the phone calls. However, due to so much rush, Patrick didn’t notice.
On the other hand, he went on to meet two more employees, Anthony and Laudalina and heard their stories as well. In the end, Damico met them in his real look and gave them rewards for their services. Are these employees still working for Round Table Pizza? Let’s take a look.
Steve
Even though they did not start on a good note, Steve discussed how Round Table Pizza changed his life. When he was 16, he started taking drugs and his mother threw him out of the house. He had nowhere to go and thought he has to change his life. It was Round Table Pizza that changed his life and gave him a job. Since then, he’s got married and has two children with his wife.
Damico gave $30,000 to Steve for his children’s college fund and helped him in his store as well.
Steve is still working with Round Table Pizza.
Patrick
Patrick had a lot of problems at the stores because the machines were getting jammed and some of their parts were getting dislocated while working. So, it was not easy for him to run the store efficiently. While telling his story, Patrick revealed that Round Table Pizza has been amazing for him but Covid changed a lot of things. They didn’t get many employees due to which the current employees had to work a lot more. Also, they had to take a 30% cut off of their salaries.
The hectic schedule also forced him to not meet his father for a very long time and it was really hard for him to do that.
Patrick is still the manager of Washington’s outlet and has received new machines which have made his life easier.
Anthony
Anthony was handling a store in Texas, which is a new market for Round Table Pizza and they need to compete with the competitors. So, Anthony had to walk five miles to put out the word that a new store has opened and he feels that the corporate needs to do more in Texas so that people get to know that Round Table Pizza is here.
While sharing his story, Anthony revealed that he played NFL and got cut after a couple of years. He spent four and a half years in jail and it was Round Table Pizza that gave him a second chance and gave him a job.
When they met for the last time, Damico announced that the company will be starting a new PR campaign for Texas. He also gave Anthony $10,000 for the kids he’s teaching football. In the future, the team will be handled by Round Table Pizza as well. Another thing he did for Anthony is that he gave him $25,000 for his stepson, who has special needs, and he can modify his home with that amount of money.
Anthony is still working at Round Table Pizza outlet in Texas and the PR campaign has started to pick up steam.
Laudalina
Probably, the sweetest employee to appear on the show this season, Laudalina is working in California and helped Damico in making sides because sides make their sales go up. Although she was slow in the start, she did well. She shared her story and told Damico that she has been working here since 1977 and has seen three-generations working at this outlet.
He was pleased to know how Laud has been helping her own employees to boost morale but didn’t like the fact that she has to pay from her own pocket to do that. She also took him to his house and let him meet her grandkids.
For Laudalina, he gave her a reward and also gave her the time to take a holiday and visit her ancestral place in Portugal.
