The Internet is a busy place and it is not every day that people go crazy on social media over a certain date unless it's something very special. The unique order of numbers in today's date, 2.22.22, is regarded as a once-in-a-lifetime event, more so because people will not be getting to see a similar array of numbers for another 400 years. A lot of people who are into numerology also consider repeating numbers good luck and have dubbed the date as 'Twosday' since the date that has all twos, also happened to fall on a Tuesday!

Numerology fans also believe that triple numbers are angel numbers that bring good luck and have taken to social media to wish people a day of good fortune today. People who practice numerology have explained that a repetition of twos is seen as something that signifies harmony and union and is the 'purest representation of duality'. So today would be a great day to align with the universe and manifest dreams and wishes into reality. 'The Secret' book's Twitter handle tweeted: "You can of course manifest your dreams every day. But why not make a special effort on 22.2.22. Happy manifesting."

Netizens expressed how lucky they are to be getting to witness this rather unique date, the kind that only comes about once in a long while. However, it is not just numerology. 'Twosday' is being hailed for a number of other reasons. The date is a palindrome, meaning that it reads the same backward as it does forward. It is also an ambigram, which means that if you wrote the numbers down vertically one after the other, it would read the same upside down too!

One tweet said, "22-2-22 this is the last palindrome we will experience in our lives. May this day bring unexpected joy and miracles to everyone, may God bring you blessings in twos!". Another said: "22/02/2022 Today’s palindrome date is a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence for you, but Stonehenge was there for 11/11/1111! #twosday #onesday". Another tweet used a visual showing the date as digital clock numbers to show just how special the date 'looks' with the caption: "Upside down or back to front kind of day? 🙃 22/2/22 is a rare and special date as it's a palindrome and an ambigram"

Twosday also marks the end of the triple 2s or the 222 sequences for this century, which started back in 2000. The next time that people will get to see this array again is quite far away in the year 2422.
