WASHINGTON, DC: Former United States Representative Tulsi Gabbard took another shot at the US President, Joe Biden by calling him "Hitler" once again while criticizing the lack of his commitment to diversity. The 41-year-old hit out at "identity politics" across the Democratic Party which she alleged was "proud" to appoint people to federal posts based on their gender and race.

The first Hindu member of Congress called the bias "sickening" and "alarming" and claimed it resembled the core principles of Nazism. It is the second time Gabbard has compared Joe Biden to Adolf Hitler.

What did Tulsi Gabbard say?

"Jesse, what we are seeing is their philosopher identity politics," Gabbard said during an appearance on Friday night's edition of Watters Primetime on Fox. "This is one of the reasons I left the Democratic Party. You see how their agenda of identity politics directly undermines the traditional democratic values that were expressed beautifully and clearly by Dr Martin Luther King, that we should judge each other not based on the color of our skin but based on our character."

The backlash erupted in response to claims made by Biden's press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, that Biden prioritized diversity when deciding who to nominate for vice chair of the US Federal Reserve. Gabbard, although an ex-Democratic representative for Hawaii, often contradicted the Party's ideologies which she claimed had become too "woke."

She previously called Hillary Clinton the "embodiment of corruption and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long." Gabbard has been very critical of Biden's leadership and is set to publish a memoir based on her experiences in the Democratic Party.

"You look at the core values and core principles of Adolf Hitler and Nazism what is it based on? It’s based on genetics this philosophy of geneticism and discriminating based on their genes," she said on Friday, February 24. "That’s the issue here, really, when you cut to the core of it. When they are standing there, saying we are proud to be selecting people solely based on race, that is alarming to men so many levels. You see them oh we are going to select someone based on their race, based on their gender, these immutable characteristics that we are born with, this goes against, again, the very vision our founders had for us."

However, anchor Watters appeared to disagree with Gabbard's extreme comparison as he said, "I'm not sure about the German thing."

Tulsi Gabbard has dubbed Joe Biden 'Hitler' before

It is the second time Gabbard has likened Biden to Hitler. "I’m pretty sure they all believe they’re doing what’s best," Gabbard told a rally in New Hampshire in October last year. "Even Hitler thought he was doing what was best for Germany, right? For the German race. In his own mind, he found a way to justify the means to meet his end."

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was questioned on Thursday, February 23, about President Biden's selection process to decide who to nominate for vice chair of the U.S. Federal Reserve. "So, I'll just first say that clearly filling that vacancy is something that's important to the president and we'll certainly nominate someone in the near future. When it comes to diversity, you've heard this from the president, you've heard this from me, you've heard this from many of us here, diversity and representation is really important to this president," she said according to Daily Mail.

'She’s such a liar'

Twitter users were also quick to react to Gabbard's outrageous claims. One Twitter user tweeted, "The hiring is not based on race.. They recruit those who won’t question authority or policy. These are people who have more to lose career wise." Another opined, "The issue of Constitutionally is the issue. Make the democratic define democracy and MARXISM." One user said, "I’m thinking most companies hire the best people to do the job instead our president doesn’t know that because he’s never hired anybody in his entire lifetime..that’s why the government doesn’t run it like a business" while another tweeted, "She’s such a liar." "Tulsi is still madz cuz she FAILED!" tweeted one user.
